So what do you think - should I wear a suit and tie when I’m on TV?
@nsmith98629 ай бұрын
@sabrinaroach2023 stalker much? Anyhow, I think casual dress is more relatable. The people are tired of stuffed shirts.

That’s a difficult question because sometimes a suit is necessary. But 99% of the time I think business casual is the way to go. It’s a much more approachable look!

I like that you wear regular clothing when you’re out in town talking to the public. . . .interviewing RFK. . .ummmm maybe not so much! You were bustin out ‘As you tend to do!’ And it was a lot. 😂 A suit may have been more appropriate, but you do you! News Nation didn’t seem to mind. And neither did I.😂

It's really not the same Chris. Are you saying honestly that Trump didn't go against the Constitution when he didn't honor the election results? When he called his angry supporters to Washington and sent them to the Capitol. When he didn't interven to stop them. When Trump was asked to return National Security documents and refused that is ok, should just let it go? You really think Biden did similar things? They aren't the same

He's singing a different tune because of what happened to his brother/family. Biden, who was once a close friend/ally, basically has cold shoulder-ed them since. Don't forget when Biden had those multiple allegations leveled against him of SH/A, the Cuomos' were one of the first to have his back. It sucks to lose friends, but Chris needs to get over his personal grudge. I guarantee if it were up to Trump, AC & CC would be in a prison cell, so idk why tf he is caping so hard.

That is exactly right.. the US government is just a playing a game now and not thinking about the people at all. We can go back and forth with this but in the end, we see more people living on the streets, choicing to pay rent over food, and holding 3 jobs to try to hold everything together.

The GOP has been more concerned with their own control than anything else. They have been playing partisan politics, especially when Trump started to run for office. The Democrats have done it to a lessor extent, but it's been more for serving the public rather than the party.
@HT-sh1yj10 ай бұрын
There are actually many jobs available but a lot of employers say they can’t find people with the right skills. If I had to hold down three jobs, I would consider finding out what types of jobs are in demand and see if I can develop the skills for those jobs. The real problem for too many people is they have children to support so they aren’t able to reskill. I would recommend that people get established in a career before having children. A career doesn’t have to be something like a doctor or lawyer - maybe it could be starting in an entry level fast food job with the express intent of working hard and getting into the company’s management training program. You just need an upward mobility plan and show that you are dedicated to that plan. Then once you have moved up on your career path consider having children if you want them.
@Oneness10010 ай бұрын
@@HT-sh1yj It takes more than just money to raise children. It also takes parents with maturity and a sense of duty in raising their children so they aren't a burden on society. Just because you can create children doesn't mean you should have them.

I thought Jake's question was very insightful. In this day and age, getting ahead is really difficult and often questioned by many ("Why work so hard?"). Then, when people seemingly see you 'get there,' their thoughts change to 'they're so lucky.' But it's the grind, the daily grind of sticking to one's beliefs, often in the face of insurmountable odds, that builds character and empathy. It seems like Jake could use a vacation before his residency starts! Carpe Deum!

I don't see any positives for someone wearing a tie. Ironically for personalities in the media that you always see with a tie its fairly neutral but when you see someone without a tie it seems to me to add credibility. Political Revenge: A good amt of Trump voters were previous those voting Dem, yes. Most of them not that 'liberal' per se, but that's beside the point. Point is, overall, that's a moot red herring. It's about the party in Congress, #1. And #2, what one party did being right or wrong should have nothing to do with you doing a wrong thing. Two wrongs don't make a right. And sometimes -- there was only 1 wrong. It's a political game not about right or wrong, which the Republicans are doing. It's about winning elections. If all or most admitted to the public Trump did severely wrong and he was an unethical president -- it would severely damage their party and Dems would have overwhelmingly won Congress over, and moreso in the mid-terms. You'd have too much of a fractured party on the right side of the aisle. They feel they have every 'right' to "pay back" -- regardless as to whether impeaching Trump was good or bad. It's ugly for them -- that's why. That's not remotely close to even a semi-ethical justification.

Kaya Chris,Ties are a representation. Tie or not. I'm on the side of not. (see what I did there?) It's all bs, just part of indoctrination into 'societal conformity', conform or be called out, it works, look at the reaction, good demonstration too! The principle, if you could call it that, is playing on an old deep feeling of the awareness of the consequences of knot conforming, ostracisation=death. I stopped wearing them years ago and will never do so again. I call them symbols of slavery to conformity and they remind me of those big iron neck collars knotted with iron rivets and attached to chains, placed on my ancestors by the British Invasion/colonising and stealing my country. Even works with turning the colonised into the marginalised, here in Australia any blackfella in a tie is ostracised, laughed at by his own for trying to conform, and those he's trying to get on with will either question his heritage or his intellectual prowess. I mean seriously the amount of times I've overheard or been outright told I'm too smart to be Aboriginal... anyway this is what makes me think until we start accepting each other as humans and ourselves with our imperfections, and start ignoring the superficial and contrived, we'll get nowhere, more dialogue is good, even better than War look how much fun we have watching the arguments when they are clear rational logical and factual. Wars knot fun ask anyone whose been in one. Enjoy your weekend everyone, love from Boorloo (Perth,Australia)
