But the bible does say that our hair is being unprotected (1 Corinthians 11:13-16), but I thank God that more Hollywood people are coming to the knowledge of the true and living God more, Amen to the Lord most high. Read the story of Samson, when Delilah cut his hair, it was his wisdom, that's why he got into trouble, and it was his strength. I REGRET NOT BEING CONFIDENT AS A CHRISTIAN!! - Felt that 100%. At 18 I was for God like Chrisette. But in college and having so much freedom for the first time. I lost myself in trying to please others. It wasn't into my time in the wilderness that I placed my phone down. I still find myself in isolation with God during this pandemic the more I get intimate with God the more sane I become. The words and wisdom that God delivers and allows you to share with others is so REAL. I loved this. This woman deserves her flowers ! So inspirational . Cancel Culture must end. No one is perfect.

She was really hurt by what she went through because the attacks came from people she thought would be there for her. There’s still pain when she speaks, but there’s also victory and healing as she speaks. God is still working through her and I appreciate what a testimony she is. This is why life under a rock can be a beautiful place to be in. I’m often delayed in learning about celeb life and breaking news. Lol shucks I’ve only learned what The Shade Room was about 6 months ago. Never tuned into it once I heard what it was about, but love this platform that came of if. I always loved Chrisette Michele and had no idea she’d been “cancelled” nor was I aware of the performance because I pretty much ignored his whole presidency and refused to consume any media attention given to him. For that, the love was never lost on me. Following Him will upset many people, lots of times we ourselves don’t understand His whys, but I trust that He will continue to be glorified through your/our lives. Miss your music and can relate to growing up in church. My father was a pastor and we spent a lot of time in church and it stuck with me. It wasn't till later in life when I was baptized in the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tounges. My friends church was having early morning prayer and I would get up at 6am and go pray everyday and one day I started to speak in other tounges.

The most people on social media (all platforms) are women, and black women in particular. And so when I think of cancel culture (which I hate and think is stupid) I think, who is doing the cancelling? Other than the industry that the person is in (which even they take their cue from social media) I think it is women (and black women most often) cancelling each other just for being human. While I may not agree with one's choices I am not here to be God in their lives. I am no judge. The fact that I am an imperfect human, it disqualifies me of rending judgement on another imperfect human!!

This blessed me!!! I’m a 43 year old women and I say, “If that makes sense” often…I know that comes from my childhood…. I know that God is genuinely freeing me! Thank you ladies so much!!! I said in another Beautiful interview that CM did: "she was "canceled" because she's far more known in the black secular world of music than Travis. She is hip-hop culture, the Queen of #jazz-hop. I only heard of Travis a couple of years ago. I didn't even know he was there.
