Lovely conversation. Yvonne is so relatable and refreshing. I can't get over how she looks like Lira with this haircut!?! Love it! I know that all these ladies are speaking if marriage as something they deeply desire, but I just think they should also enjoy the purpose God has placed on their singleness. They will look back one day and be so grateful for how much they did before settling down. And they will have so much to tell their children about. Marriage is beautiful, but so is Godly purposeful singleness. Love you all

In the last part of the video when Yvonne say "who got to that person", "who told them" like that they can't rep Jesus I immediately thought about that Bible Verse where God asks Adam they same thing, when Adam told God something that God had never told him or made apart of his identity. Genesis 3:11 "...who told thee". So, true that we just have to live for God and live in the identity that He has for us and NOT what the world says. Great interview and vibe, really. God's love and blessings to all!

Love love Yvonne. As I sat here listening to these 3 awesome beautiful women, I wept for them as I reflected on my journey of singleness. I'm now 54 and have gotten no closer to the fulliment of Love and Marriage as the day I gave myself fully to the Lord at age 24. I watch year after year all these absolutely wonderful women constantly proclaim their love for Jesus/God and to be chosen for marriage, yet I dont see the testimonies happening for their mates manifesting. It's not that I'm not believing for them, I truly pray all 3 are blessed beyond their wildest hope. I have remained steadfast for 30 years, as well as at least 17 close girlfriends who have 30, 40, 50 years of singleness, all have served God faithfully, honored our temples and not one has been blessed with healthy romantic love. The only peace in the midst of the wait is truly that God provides me such joy, peace and wholeness while being single. I just want to for once turn on a show and see men saying how they long for a wife and asking God where she's at. The problem, is MEN are not seeking God for the blessing of marriage. They all deserve a wonderful man and a beautiful family and I sincerely hope and pray they will all blessed, they all such beautiful, smart, successful deserving ladies of the best!

I was totally changed after watching Sarah Jakes Roberts' "Girl Get Up" sermon.... It had a profound effect on me and I knew I could absolutely relate to her story and her connection to God... It changed me, I'm hooked on learning more and seeing the Bible in a whole new light.

And that prayer at the end was just beautiful. Thank you ladies for encouraging us! I receive it. [Spoken by Yvonne Orji at 42.29mins in the above video] “Hey daddy, first of all we want to come before you and say thank you. Thank you for this opportunity to even be in this space, in this same room, with you and knowing that the presence of God is here. Hey God, I just pray for everybody who is listening who needs a touch from you. I don’t know if its the hem of your garment, I don’t know if its a high-five or it’s a hug - whatever it is God, they need a touch from you. They are in a transitional stage. They are in the valley of indecision, and God they are uncertain, there’s a lot of things not going right, there’s a lot of uncertainty of which way to go. Um, there are probably too many things going right. Wherever it is that they find themselves God, I pray that you will give them clarity and vision. I know that one word from you that is acted upon can cause an eternal-internal change in their life and they won’t even recognise themselves this time next year, God. I pray that you will meet every need exactly where they are God. Not too high and not too low God. Exactly where they need you to be. And Lord I pray you’d give them the confidence to surrender. I pray that you will give them the confidence to surrender to YOU, even when it doesn’t make sense. Even when it feels hard, even when it feels like they are going backwards. Help them to know that You plus Them equals a majority - that no-one can stop the plans from God on their lives, not even them. So, God I pray for the peace that surpasses all understanding, God. That they may surrender their logic to your goodness, because God, the plans that you have for them, really are of good and not of evil. And even though it feels like you are setting them up, God, you are setting them up to be the best version of themselves. And I pray that they believe that. I pray God there be a transitional shift in their mindset, a rewinding, a reworking, an upgrade if you will - a manufacturers upgrade God. Reset them like we reset our iPhones. And Father, I pray as they lean in to your goodness, to your word, to your will, that their lives will never be the same. In Jesus’ name, Amen”.

As a seasoned African-American woman rocking an TWA (Teeny Weeny Afro) I appreciate your hair style also. I will admit that I have had limited experiences with folks from the Nigerian culture. But, I do know as a woman of African decent to rock a natural much less short cut for too many is intimidating. No shade! I originally started with natural hair due to struggles with finances at the time. I was terrified, but I trusted my then hair dresser. But I tell you the liberation was awesome! So awesome that I took my only child to the beach that day and actually got into the ocean with him. One of my now fondest memories. I sincerely wish you the very best in regards to your faith walk.
