Under appreciated?? With polite respect, Ah-Ha is worldwide the largest selling pop band of the 80s, seconded only by Michael Jackson... Their 1985 album _Hunting High & Low_ has gone platinum 3 times. Their career hit _Take On Me_ hit 1 billion views on KZbin in 2020, & currently stands at 1.7 billion views I was 13 in 1985. I bought _Hunting High & Low_ on LP the month of its release. I try not to idolize my favorite musicians, but I'm definitely an Ah-Ha fan. _Take On Me_ & _The Sun Always Shines On TV_ were daily fixtures on MTV until the end of the 80s... Personally, the only artists I admire as much as I do them are Steve Winwood, George Benson, Dave Grusen, Roger Webb, & Alberici & May. Roger Webb & Alberici & May are not mainstream musicians. They are Contemporary Orchestra musicians in the Easy Listening category. So most people will not recognize them, but their music is here on KZbin

You have to listen to this song with headphones. For me this song is the ultimate A-ha song par excellence. The introduction alone is awesome. You immediately become nostalgic. The orchestra rounds off the whole thing so dreamily that you can and must listen to it over and over again! ! But what is very striking is that the 3 don't have much to say anymore. At least not at this time. Which has been confirmed several times. Not a single exchange or eye contact, which I personally find very unfortunate. In previous videos and performances, you can see that very well. Singing together, laughing ect. This looks very professional but also very rehearsed. Everyone does their thing. But since they are professionals, musically it is still TOP! ! !

fun fact: A-ha's 2000 International Hit "Summer Moved On" contains the Longest Note Held on any record in history. Lead singer Morten Harket (possibly the Best Male Vocalist of this Generation) holds a note in the Song for 21 Seconds, and then after another two seconds holds another for five, so in the course of about 30 seconds he's holding notes for 27 of them. The more impressive thing is that in concert when A-ha performs Summer Moved On, the note is strectched another five and he actually goes Higher half way through the Note, which is pretty much impossible to any Human.

The Royal Albert Hall-concert in London was absolutely exceptional and magical according to those I know that were there! I saw the same concert in 'Konserthuset' (with the same Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra as in RAH/London) in Oslo Oct 5th some days before this one: and to me they where breathtaking. Now I understand that compared to this concert; they were almost 'warming up' for RAH/London :)
