I’m a new subscriber and glad I found your channel. I have never used anything like the triple lipid restore cream. I am on my second jar and absolutely love it! I will say, since you mentioned it, I can smell the essential oils but thankfully they don’t bother me. Anyhow, love your videos 👍

Great Video Chris. I use several SkinCeuticals products and will definitely add Discoloration Defense. Do you happen to have videos for "Mature Skin"

I haven't done this as a topic and your not the first to ask so I definitely am. In the meantime I have been skin issue specific in the videos. I have one coming out for this very soon. 😎👍

What about the Serum 10 AOX+? I currently use Wishtrend Vitamin C 15% with ferulic acid, but I wanted to try SkinCeuticals but at lower percentage.

Do any other products rival the Skinceuticals Discoloration Defense? I’ve been using it for a few months, and I’m wondering if I can add or replace to beef it up to combat hyperpigmentation. I also use The Ordinary’s Niacinimide and Azalaic Acid. Thank you!
@CHRISGIBSONLIVE4 жыл бұрын
Hi. The products you listed are good for over all treatment of hyperpigmentation...but they do take some time for visible results. If you feel you are not seeing improvement, then a product like Meladerm might be better as it is a stronger formulation. Here is a link to check that product out amzn.to/3jrNWFL Also, adding a vitamin c serum to your routine can also be quite helpful! 😎👍

Rita Sharqawi not really. I’m not impressed. I’m much preferring Naturium’s Tranexamic Acid serum with this: divinederriere.com/products/skin-brightening-5-arbutin-aha-cream-1-oz?variant=6288615604256 I also use Tretinoin .5% every night as well. Huge help too.

I’m using the triple lipid cream because my skin is extremely patchy and dry, what would you recommend for dry skin that has good ingredients and is very moisturizing
@CHRISGIBSONLIVE4 жыл бұрын
There are two...and I researched this again to be sure, on the higher end, The Quench by BeautyBio is the most similar and on the low end is CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream ( believe it or not! ) a mere $20. I hope this helps. I'd test out the CeraVe and judge how it gives you results.😉😎

How would the discolouration serum compare to hydro quinolone formulation? I d love your thoughts!
@CHRISGIBSONLIVE4 жыл бұрын
The skinceuticals discoloration serum used tranexamic acid that improves the appearance of deeper skin discoloration in as early as 2 weeks where as the spot corrector has exfoliation properties that help with very surface spots.

Is it okay if i will use the skinceuticals brighteni g serum at night? After my p50 pgm 400 lotion --> then the skinceuticals discoloration serum ----> then skinceuticals retinol 0.5 ------> cerave pm. ☺️☺️ thank you Oh and in the morning i use skinceuticals viatmin c e ---> then skin medica lytera 2.0 ---> then olay suncreen ---> the colorscience suncreen powder. Im using the lytera 2.0 in the morning is it okay to use the discoloration serum at night.? Thank you 😅😅😅😘😘😘

Hi there...it's better if you use vitamin c serums and any aha separately from you retinols. Retinol really needs to be applied alone with your CeraVe if I'm understanding your routine clearly. So no bha or aha (glycolic acids) at the same time as a retinol. I hope that's helpful!

I have two questions 1- is it ok to mix different skin brands together or sticking to one is the best thing to do ? My second question I’m 26 years old and I want to include retinol and vitamin b in my night routine can you recommend products great for beginners?
@mawjoo3a4 жыл бұрын
Sticking on one brand**
@CHRISGIBSONLIVE4 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes you can use different brands. This is a really good question! Active ingredients are the key so I try to review as many brands as I can to give you choices. I use different brands all the time since I test a lot. Retinol at night is an excellent choice at your age. Pixi brand has an excellent overnight retinol that is mild. You want to slowly incorporate retinols into your skin care routine as they can be irritating. The skin also acclimates to them so it's best to start every other day for a week or two...then nightly. The Ordinary brand also has 2 strengths of retinol..a 0.2 and 0.5. These are very inexpensive and so start with 0.2 first and then switch to 0.5 when you run out. As for vitamin B...do you mean B 3 which is niacinamide? Let me know. If so, yes, vitamin B3 will help reduce the irritation experienced with retinol use and also enhance its therapeutic effects. If you mean something different let me know! I hope this helps... sorry for the long explanation ❤️😎

Would discoloration defense help scars and broken capillaries?

Hello I want to ask u something I just bought their (toner equalizing toner) for my sister she has very dry skin on the cheeks but oily on the forehead, nose, and chin basically like a tzone so wanted to ask is it gonna be good for her? And what moisturizer suits her? Thanks❤️
@CHRISGIBSONLIVE4 жыл бұрын
The toner should work for her. Once per day only so don't over do it. Since she has combination skin (I do too) she might like a product like Neutrogena Hydro Boost for extra dry skin. I'm using it and like it. It will not cause more oil or breakouts. Hope this is helpful.

I haven't gotten to a full review of their products or formulations...but they stay away from most all of the bad-for-your-skin ingredients. They are also reasonably priced for this kind of specialized brand. Hope that helps! Full review coming! 👍😎

I have dark underarms with deep lines. It’s been like this since I used deodorant as a teen. I’m deo free now. What can you recommend?
@CHRISGIBSONLIVE4 жыл бұрын
Generally, light exfoliation with a sponge like buf puf is helpful and you can apply a lotion that has a higher amount of AHA or glycolic acid. Alpha Skin Care brand has a good one at 12% Over time this should naturally lighten the area. 😎
@bvrlylava4 жыл бұрын
Chris Gibson Found it on amazon yay! There is an alpha skin care with hydroquinone and 10% glycoloc how about that one? Also Do you have a recommendation for a retinol newbie?
