Thanks for all these videos. We’ve enjoyed watching them as they’ve been uploaded over the festive season. Great that you are honest about your struggles, although we couldn’t hold a candle to your achievements.

As awesome as this video is, it must have been incredible to actually be there and do the ride, long and drawn out as it is. Beautiful.

Could hear the altitude taking its effect ! Teide is a drag to get up even in a car :).That track looked a lot more suited to the Hiking community than any sort of biking .

Looks like you are in a good rhythm on this one. Completely relate to your MTB off-road experience. Am a roadie,but had lots of fun off-road during the 1980’s and 90’s..early MTB times was spent finding impossible places to ride bikes ( pre Lycra ) doing impossible stuff,falling off,hysterical laughter,followed by more… Several years ago realised I no longer have the same inclination ( bottle!) and perhaps my ‘risk-assessment’ has adapted to suit. Love gravel and MTB single track,but leave out the jumps,big rocks,crazy descents etc. Live to ride another day.

Great vlog as always, to watch :) Definition of the phrase understatement ? "I can kinda do cross-country" Definition of Sadomasochist ? Dragging the "horse" up and over a boulder field in scorchio conditions, where the question of whether lugging 5 litres of H20 in the Camelpack will suffice ! Have a Fantasic day Chris & a even better 2025 ☀️ 🍌🐿

Hi Chris, I watched all your videos. Love this channel. I am doing Badlands in 2025, and I see you are using aerobars on your bike. I was using it on ultra but without bags on the bike. So full gas all the time. Is aerobar a must for Badlands, or It's manageable without? Thanks
@ChrisHallRides3 күн бұрын
You don't have to have them for badlands.

No need to be too hard on your MTB skills. Your bike is setup for bikepacking not technical enduro style riding 🙏
