I am Giant Cheerio, a bicycle traveler, exploring the world by bike since 2021.
I escaped the cold weather to explore the Canary Islands by bike and here we go, making a semi-loop on Tenerife!
It is cycling paradise over here but these steep roads really took it out of me. On top, my cycling company made me suffer by loosing a backpack with all our food inside! OH DEAR, what a hungry day!
Let's explore Tenerife, starting in Fasnia, taking the ''TF28'' down to Los Christianos and following the western coastline of Tenerife through La Caleta & Los Gigantes to end our Trip at the most western point of the Island. The Punta de Teno!

Hi! Hope you are having a good time on Tenerife. I got really inpired by your bike packing videos, so mutch that i desided to do it myself. Alone. Bought a used mountain bike in Faro Portugal and zigzaged myself about 350 km to Seville Spain. What a trip! Gave the bike to a homeless man as planned because the "baboon syndrome" got to bad. LOL. I slept on the same spot of La Caleta, walked on that beautiful serpentine road from Santiago del Teide to Masca, sat on the same bench in Buenavista and also struggled to find proper sleeping spot there but a waiter guy offered us to sleep on a terrace of a restaurant on the beach..:) Nice job anyway!
