Hi Chris. My husband and I love you and all your videos. They are awesome and very informative. I personally love snakes and have had over 55 + snakes. Over the years back from the 1990s until now, different breeds of snakes, from my very first adorable cute baby ball named Ozzy back in 1991. To Ball and Burmese Pythons, Red Tail Boa Constrictors, also different breeds for King, Rat, Corn, Gardener Chinese Rainbow Gardens, so different kind of snake. And each is beautiful and cute in its special way. So now my husband wants to start to breed some of our new ball pythons for the first time. We just got 4 new beautiful Ball Pythons. 2 females and 2 males, all beautiful, gorgeous, and all so cute. A gorgeous male Banana super fire with Ruby red eyes named him Lestât. A beautiful female black-eyed leucitic super fire named her Lucy. A gorgeous cute male Super Pastel Enchi Ball Python male named him Lucifer. Also got one possibly a normal beautiful female Ball Python named her Wadjet. So my husband is watching you and your KZbin videos channel, so he’s in love with them all and also wants to breed them, the two males to the two females. To possibly get the super banana super fires and super fire black and blue-eyed ones etc. Also the breeding the super pastel Enchi to the regular one. Thank you so much for all the work making wonderful informative videos, any advice you can give him or us would be very much appreciated. 🥰❤️🐍❤️🐍❤️🐍❤️🐍❤️

Hey Chris! I have just started watching your videos on best/worst genes, how to set up snakes, how to make money, etc… and I just realized you kind of disappeared from KZbin almost a year ago. Just want to let you know your videos helped a lot! I am about to have my first clutch hatch. Your advice has been the most helpful. I hope you understand how many people appreciate your advice, but also are concerned about your disappearance. Hope all is well! Much respect, Randy

Wonderful to see your snakes. Your Dinker project female is very beautiful as well as your Desert Ghost projects. it was a busy day for me. so your corn snake looks to be a hypo morph, also thought your corn snake is a little thick, it is better to be thick then underweight.
@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures4 жыл бұрын
I actually bought that corn snake as a 'blood red' but many people told me that is wrong. I don't know my corn snakes LOL
@TesseraCraft4 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures yeah bloodreds are one of the worst defined corn snake morphs. I would bet that bigred is a (hypo, or strawberry, or lava) + redfactor + masque. Masque is a dominate morph, so 100% or 50% of the offspring with be masque if just one parent is masque. Redfactor is one of many incomplete dominate morphs that make a corn snake more red. Corn snake breeders are not really sure how many redfactor genes there are because they all seem to act and look the same for he most part. The ball python genetic equivalent would be how the black pastel looks compared to the super. Hypo and strawberry are ellilic but strawberry is more red by a shade. they both are hypo time morphs. Lava is also a hypo type morph, but it is rare still, so it is far less likely you got one at random. Bloodred is a morph with selective breeding. they are bred to have vary small saddle borders so as adults you can not see them. The gene that your snake is missing is diffused. Defused hides away the pattern of the snake as it gets older. Big red is an adult, so if he had diffused his pattern would really be covered up. If Bigred had diffused you could safely call him a bloodred hypo corn snake. Diffused is also a recessive gene Corn snake breeders work alot with recessive genes, so I think it is funny that ball python breeders complain about getting supers, or recessives. if you ever want to do some corn snake videos i would be down for collaboration

@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures4 жыл бұрын
I'm not an expert on the Asphalt, I can't tell the difference LOL. If you know for sure you have an Asphalt it could be worth that, most people will breed a Freeway to something and get snakes that look normal and could be Asphalt or Yellowbelly, those are pretty inexpensive.

The double recessive is a long project. The hets you would create now,would be amazing and worth more than most visual clowns or pieds. Worst case is a normal double het. I can't find a normal double het clown pied, desert ghost pied Desert ghost clown Female for under 500.00. Male 400.00. You add an essential co dom for these projects like Fire,enchi,pastel, and you increase value by 2-3 xs. You seem too be a research junkie, like me. So I was just trying too pick your brain and see why. Covid-19 has me at home with way too much time on my hands. 😂. So I can ask the questions I think about instead of guessing.
