Thanks... I just have a lot of fun and feedback like yours makes it all worthwhile. I am not a youtuber or video professional - I am an artist and like to make creative videos [rather than pure technical explainers].

@@2dgameartguru i have to disagree.. I've learned and I'm learning a lot from your videos.. Thank you for sharing your creative process!

Thanks... I see the shortcomings, mistakes, and hear the problems with my narration... but [being a one-man-show with limited time and energy [and no budget]] it's the best I can do. The fact that it helps viewers like you is a great reward for me. ;) Thanks!

you're a maestro! just so love to watch your ingenious thought process of creating pure Art out of magical compositions! Wish you could give us noobs a "thinking in complex composition 101" tutorial.
@2dgameartguru8 ай бұрын
Try to make it not complex... start simple and add to it as you go. This design has no complicated parts in it - lines, circles, and a square as the base. It's the illusion of complexity created by layering enough elements on top of each other.

love this so glad you dont just use only illustrator or any other expensive program like so many others do this means us hobbyist can follow along thank you

You're welcome! Making good design is not a matter of an expensive set of tools - even though Adobe and genAI groupies would disagree - but of using the tool's abilities.

This is a wonderful demonstration of your workflow. The part that creates the seamless fill pattern looks like creating a tile map on pixel art, except it is on a vector software. The rest is a kind of magic of your artistic mind 😁🖖

Thanks Chris!! You’re a legend! 🎉 Edit to say I’d take ages to do something like this 😅 haha but need to start somewhere 🎉
@2dgameartguru8 ай бұрын
You can do it! It's not that hard... and you don't need to go that complex... Start with a few leaves, two or three flowers, and go from there. It's all about doing it and having fun while learning something new. Do a simple pattern and grasp the basics of pattern design. Take it a step further and go more complex. Add more layers and elements to the pattern. Once you work it out, the sky is the limit.

You are genious. How can i learn this type of design? Could you give some advice?
@2dgameartguru8 ай бұрын
Just do things... go wild... use simple shapes and lines... play with colours... and have fun [lots of it]! It's that simple. Don't overthink it. Art comes from feeling more than logic.

Amazing! this video content really intend me to start using inscape for designs; kindly if create a basic video using pure shapes and all the tools, stuff and how to use them rather than creative designs way as you do usual; means a quickly demonstration of this tool as possible; thanks
@2dgameartguru8 ай бұрын
Noted! I will think about it... but there are sooooo many technical videos out there [most of them cringe-worthy to me as they lack any creativity].
