I remember seeing this thirty years ago. The whole 30 minute episode was a 'two hander' between Dot and Nick. I was 18 or so, when I saw it. And, although I haven't watched soaps for decades now, this has always stuck with me as something magnificent.

i remember these episodes when they was originally on they was good acting.i think there was another sort of a storyline between nick n dot.as nick was really meant to be the bad son guy.but i think there was a streak to dot aswell.eg in other episodes she admits some of her mistakes aswell.like there was another side to dots character eg she wasnt just this perfect mother wife etc on eastenders.perhaps that driven nick to his bad deeds etc.
