Wonderful exploratory interaction - this is a great Wayne Shorter song that hardly ever gets played. Kevin Hays is top-notch - everyone in the band is superb. The bass player has incorporated some of the Ron Carter style that is ideal for this kind of approach. I tend to not like overly long renditions but this performance never overstayed its welcome - it kept me engaged throughout. Beautiful.
