🇻🇳 Welcome to Quang Ngai. I'm basically here to eat some food, and upon arriving, I checked on Booking.com for a place to stay. I happened to notice right next to the place I was stopped along the road, was this nice new-looking hotel. I gave them a call and heard they had some rooms available, so I decided to check it out. Enjoy.

Chris, you did not provide the Hotel name, but i found in on the front desk where you checked in. NewCC Hotel , 1 Khu dich vu VSIP, 3 Hoa Binh, Pho Quang Ngai. I also speak VN, from the Army Language School at Monterey, CA, the 47-week course in 1964. I translated and decrypted coded telegraph messages in VN (Phu Bai and Tan Son Nhat AFB) from Feb 1965 to Aug 1967. I have a particular interest in Quang Ngai due to its ancient past as one of the homelands of the Cham people, the subject of my 1972 M.A. thesis that reconstructed the economy of ancient Champa. I subscribed to your channel the pre-Covid era. David

Tự nhiên tính toán, phòng 1 triệu 1 ngày cho phòng 2 người. Vậy 1 tháng là 30 triệu, nếu 2 người chia đôi tiền thì mất 15tr 1 tháng được ở khách sạn, ăn sáng free, tập gym free, có phòng tắm nước nóng và phòng xông hơi free. Vệ sinh free, nước free, dọn dẹp free. Tóm lại 15tr 1 tháng thì quá rẻ.

I am Hanoian living/ having lived in TX, NY, a bit of CA. I am a college professor. I hope you feel more when you speak Vietnamese than when you speak all of the other languages that you have acquired (what a linguistic genius). Vietnamese is indeed beautiful and fun/ punny and I just cannot even tell my American-born kids how interesting it is, but you nail it, better than even the majority of people growing up there. Wow Chris. This hotel looks so nice. I was born in Quang Ngai and haven't been back for over 45 years. I don't remember much since I moved south when I was very young but I always wondered what it looks like now. Definitely have to come back to visit one day.

Chris, your "Tonkin" accent and dialect are like perfect. You might have made some very minute errors like your "cách dùng từ", but the rest is perfect. You remind me of a lady I met in Saigon. She's American, white American, but she speaks Vietnamese with fluent "Cochinchina" accent and dialect. I wouldn't know that she's not a Vietnamese if I hadn't turned my head around! Maybe you should perfect these accent and dialect, too!
