I've been listening to Asking Alexandria since Stand up and scream days back then. Explaining why Danny wasn't the vocalist is because Ben and Danny got in a deep argument or something, Danny left etc... they replaced him with Dennis(The vocalist in this video) Danny is better imo, but this album was amazing. Danny came back in 2017, and Asking Alexandria released their self Titled album. You should check out Asking Alexandria- Into the fire. The album came out after this album. Also from "The black" album check out the songs, Let it sleep, Sometimes it ends, and Gone.

Ben said they don't play songs from this album because he can't play them with Danny in the band, because Ben was so mad at Danny when he left the band that he (Ben) put all his anger into the lyrics and said a lot of bad stuff in the lyrics aimed at Danny that he can't play these songs with Danny back now.

Long (very long) story short, Danny was around all the albums until he left, they made "The Black" with Dennis, this guy. Later Dennis left and Danny came back and already made 2 more albums. The band, unfortunately, erased this album from their lives, and its a shame. Definitely one of their best albums and my favorite with R&R. This is not the stuff people don’t like. They kicked Danny out and released 1 CD with Denis as the singer. Dennis turned out to be kind of a jerk and they kicked him out and Danny came back. The releases when Danny came back are the bad ones. Ben the guitar player who sings over the piano part has always been in the band and has sang on other songs you heard. This song is actually about Danny and their fallout with him.

Its not that it was bad, it just wasn't the same without the original vocalist. This guys is definitely talented. I think when people say don't check out their new stuff they mean the newest stuff that came out more recently. The new stuff is good for what it is but its not the sound most fans associate with Asking Alexandria, definitely miss the heavy!

The Black album isn't part of the trash newer stuff. Some people dislike the self-titled album with Danny in 2017, but I also like that one. Their latest album is what I'd call trash. You should check out Into The Fire. It's the first song released after Danny's comeback and it's amazing!

This album is actually really good. I think when people are talking about their newer stuff, it’s the album right after this and on. Denis is a really good vocalist. After this album their whole style changed, personally I liked the album after this one but the new stuff coming out It really hasn’t caught on to me.

Yeah this isn’t the “new” stuff people talk about not sounding great! This was actually kind of a return to the original Asking Alexandria sound with this album. Dennis sounds amazing! But Danny doesn’t scream / sing like this anymore, if you listen to a newer song

Lol. The guy who did the "backup vocals" is literally the most important band member. His name is Ben Bruce, and he is the founder of the band, the lead guitarist and the main songwriter. The band can be without Danny, but it can't be without Ben. He founded the band back in Dubai in 2006 with all completely different band members, then he moved to the UK, recruited new band members (including Danny), and then he was the one who convinced all of them to move to the US in 2008. There would be no Asking Alexandria without him. Asking Alexandria is his band he created.

Different vocalist here, his name is Denis Stoff, he started in the band in 2015 and made the album called the black with them, but he left in late 2016, and Danny Worsnop rekindled his relationship with his old band mates in late 2016 and they did a tour called 10 years in the black.

Denis made me excited for AA again, when he "left" (I still think they kicked him out) I tried to listen to "new" Danny but it just disappoints me, I would rather listen to their old stuff and remember what they were than listen to their current stuff and see what they became. I know lots of people like their new stuff and it isn't that it's bad, it just isn't AA anymore, they may have the same people, but it feels completely different. Like BMTH even though I don't like their new stuff as much as their old stuff, they still feel like BMTH, AA feels like they don't have any heart, soul or love put into the music (well that's how I feel).

Danny left for this album, this is Dennis from Make Me Famous he does clean/unclean vocals on The Black. AA goes softer after this album when Danny returns, one reason people don’t like the newer stuff. Keep checking out stuff from this album, I recommend Let it Sleep, I Wont Give In, Just a Slave to Rock n Roll, We’ll Be Ok, Here I Am, and Undivided. Danny was great before his vocals started to suffer from the screams, I think Dennis is comparable to old Danny and better than current Danny.

But the vocalist on this video is denis, he did vocals on his own band called “down & dirty” and before that band he was the clean vocalist for “make me famous” you should check those bands out, and also don’t forget to react to Fatima rusalka from alesana! curiosity, Danny left Asking in 2014 ... with that Denis Stoff entered and made the album The Black, in less than a year he also left the band and with that Danny returned to AA ... with that Danny has already released two more current albums with the band (I even recommend you to see Alone In a Room, a very different song)

Damn , the moment came and I'm late As many have said, Dennis replaced Danny after he left the band without telling anyone, and they knew about it because Danny said it in an interview, basically he turned his back on them, 'The Black' is the last metalcore album they have made and was going to be about Danny and how he was a prick with them, but Dennis talked with Ben (guitarist, second vocalist and main songwriter of AA) and they changed many lyrics on the songs, then Dennis left, Danny came back changing the band and after that they turned into generic radio rock, with a few good songs in their selftitled album
