I also get goosebumps at the end of the song, something about the combo of Tilians tone, the drums, just an awesome ending to the song. This is one of my favorite Will vocal parts, he has a couple more features on Afterburner but he doesn’t show up as much as you would like. Can’t wait for Man of the Year, it also has some of my favorite lyrics, on top of being an absolute masterpiece.

Great reaction as always! Once youre done with Mothership, Summertime Gladness would be the next song before Artificial Selection, but I would also recommend checking out the band Eidola. Their singer is the touring guitarist for DGD and he has vocal features on Artificial Selection and Afterburner. "Tetelestai" would be my first song recommendation for them.

Dude so glad you loved this song! It’s just soo catchy! Definitely do the studio version of Man of the Year next (honestly not sure why people were thinking you should do otherwise). You are gonna love it! Also, regarding chills; Tilian and Will’s combo on Son of Robot (first track off of Artificial Selection) is some of the most beautiful melodies I have heard (this is all subjective of course but I think a lot of people would agree that the verse and chorus of Son of Robot are masterfully written). I get pretty insane chills when that chorus hits. Can’t wait for you to react to that one after Summertime Gladness ;)

Personally, I’ve always imagined a slowed down version of the last bit of lyrics starting with “don’t let go….” Having a bit of a Sinatra feel. Which is a bit of a stretch, but that’s just always how the song was portrayed to me. It’s amazing nonetheless!

I don’t know why people are suggesting studio vs. TCS2 for Man of the Year… I was under the impression that he would react to TCS and TCS2 as their own albums (considering he made us vote to react to either Mothership or TCS after Instant Gratification). I always send people TCS2 Man of the Year for their first listen because I like it a lot, but if he’s going to react to TCS2 on its own I don’t see the point.

It's really a great performance but honestly I don't think it's a substitute for the original, it's just not quite as clean as the studio version. If we could get it as a bonus after the studio, or maybe if Chris did both back to back in a video that could be cool
