Can only imagine growing up rich in a house like this! We were lucky to have a window ac unit in the tiny living room of the split house my parents rented. We used to block of the entryway way with a bedsheet to keep the cool air in. No one has the leisure to worry about paint color

There are always going to be people worse off and better off than you. I can tell you right now, my childhood was a lot worse than yours but I don’t hold it against you. I would’ve loved to be in a house with a window ac and a loving family. I did not have that. You can go on comparing your life to people who are better off than you and be resentful but it won’t resolve anything. Just live your life and be thankful it wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been, like mine was. I didn’t have the leisure to be in a safe loving home like you did.

You have a beautiful home. I am Mexican, living in Canada now… Watching your video I realized in Mexico our pools are just like yours, opened to the garden. In Canada, this is not allowed. All in ground pools must be fenced, to protect kids (even if someone does not have kids) from drowning. Please keep them safe! I wish you and your family a wonderful life!

It's called PARANOIA. Canada is an overly authoritarian country that loves to rule everything. Here in Europe, you decided how your pool is and if you dont have kids no need to add fences.

Must be municipality specific because no where in Ontario (certainly not in Toronto) do you have to have a fence around your pool. I work with plenty of landscapers, architects and city building departments on a daily basis. With that being said though, I love Mexico. The architecture is spectacular.

Ours is like this we live in country but also the whole farm and property fenced so no neighbors or anything to worry about and like having pool opened to gardens and back of house .

The color drenching in the family room is everything . The RL leather chair, all the angles and windows , is a study in perfection!!!! Besides her kitchen copper collection, this is my favorite room too. I am old, so I have to wonder how someone so young amasses this kind of wealth. This is beyond my comprehension.

This is the ~4th house they've renovated and they're a couple in their 40's (not that young). They started off in a basement apartment. ;) Fortune favors the bold.

Yt, came through for me recommending this video. I've never seen a house where I absolutely loved EVERYTHING! the family room TV makes so much sense to me being at sitting level. I've always thought and had my TV sitting lower..My only disappointment is the gym because I really dislike rooms without windows. But love everything 😮

The house tours are my absolute favorite! It's fun to see the before/afters and how the rooms flow together. I look forward to seeing what you ultimately decide to do with the fireplace in the living room. Enlarging the firebox, lining it with a lighter herringbone brick and installing a decorative mantle surround would absolutely transform the space...and it would look gorgeous framed by the black windows! 🖤🖤🖤 And of course, looking forward to the primary bathroom redesign!

I used to move once a year every year when I lived with my parents and as an adult I have worked for a moving company. It’s not a “rich people” thing, sometimes it’s just honestly cheaper and easier to sell your stuff and start fresh. So many people just try to move all their useless crap yo their new space and pay or work to do so when sometimes you’ve just gotta let stuff go. Unless it’s a truly unique or special piece, let it go. Things break when you move too, if you take them apart they don’t go back together the same so it ends up being a waste of money.
