Honestly, from the vibe of the ever immortal-like presence of shine from the sunset that casts a glistening touch on whoever’s caught in the palms of its light, to the people playing volleyball and steady growth of grooving on the soft dance floor thanks to sweet tunes, and the dog, peacefully scooting through the crowd, eventually resting with content; it’s beautiful. When a group looks self conscious in a setting like this it makes me jump out there and dance to lead the way. Me and a friend will be the first people dancing, groups of people need examples of others letting loose, otherwise it takes the crowd AGES to loosen up and dance free omg **Edit** I love what you're doing man. If I were there, especially with one or two of my friends, you'd have a bubbling dance-pit in no time. I did it solo for a friend of mine who is a DJ also; I went up in front of everyone, next to his setup, and just got into it and didn't back off the dancing. People LOVE that s***. It had everyone dancing. Afterwards so many people were giving him and I respect for weeks. There's got to be that one or two people that starts the dancing truly un-restricted and moves everyone. A true DJ knows that it’s not about the equipment. Seen videos of people DJ’ing off their phone for crying out loud. It’s about the vibe you set, a good DJ knows how to slow and speed up the tempo while keeping the people wanting more. Notice how he started nice and slow and slowly sped things up just enough to get everyone going. A good DJ can do this back to back for hours on end if they wanted to. It takes a lot of knowledge of tons of different songs, growing up my stepdad DJ’d at parties, gangster kinda guy. He would tell me to listen to anything and everything. If I wanted to learn to DJ it’s about opening the horizons and finding the songs that people will party to. Everything else is practice.
