Thats what I figured. When I was 250 pounds I had a ZX636 06', all my other buddies had 06+ R6's/GSXRS 600s. If I had a average weight for them it would be 170 pounds and I walked all of them, the longer the race got - the worse it got. lol. Closest race I had was against my buddies 08 CBR600R. We were neck and neck! Mind you I did have a bookbag on... But by far the strongest 600 I raced. 636's are different breeds with that extra 36cc lmao

I have a 2020 R6 with Leo vincè full exhaust system 02 sensor delete & raced a 2020 636 with M4 slip on and I pulled away neither has a flash yet and I weight about 35 to 45 pounds less then he does, I now have BMC intake/ filter and block off plates tune is next

636 is the new 750. Best sportbike for the street with the broader torque band. R6 is a scalpel for the track with the ergos while the 636 is a little less committed.

I'm sending my 2011 R6 ecu to get mapped my buddy got his gsxr 600 tuned it sounded completely different and very responsive. I have full exhaust, filter, block offs and PC5. I love the 600 videos.

I want to send my ECU on my K8 GSXR750 I read somewhere after I decat it a flash is a must cause it loses power on those specific years of k8 750 in mid RPM range NO IDEA if that’s true but I need the MOORE MAFIA TOUCH REGARDLESS MAKE MY BABY A BEAST

Back in 2010 I bought myself a brand new R6 and had it dyno'ed 100% stock. It made 107 whp @ 13,600 rpm and 45 ft-lbs @ 10,000 rpm. 75 f outside temp, 80 % humidity and 1,000 ft elevation. The Factory R6 Headers and silencer are as good as the best aftermarket. Just get rid of the Cat converter box and have it dyno tuned and you'll easily find close to 120 whp. There is another 20 whp easily attainable by changing the cam sprockets to adjustable ones and time the cams with a little LESS overlap. Yeah, I said LESS OVERLAP !.. but you'll be forced to use minimum 93 octane because the less overlap bumps up the compression ratio. So you'll have to tune it with 93/94 octane to make sure you get no pre-detonation, and if you use higher than 94 octane you can squeak in another 5 whp.

The one thing that the R6 has over the ZX6R is that the r6 is drive by wire. So you can program in lot more in terms of launch control, and auto blip downshifts. The kawasaki is better build quality imo and is a lot cheaper. And factory quick up shifter.

R6 comes with TC , ABS .....not need to purchase . In the end , Kawa is exlensive from R6 if you buy all stuff that Yama have😉. Sorry for my english 😉

I hate to admit it, I have a 2019 r6 & I’ve raced some couples zx6r bikes they always beat me in the top end going to 160mph but in fact they’re modified & my bike is not really modified, I just have it lowered, slip on, quickshifter, blockoff plates & rider mod

I used to run a 03 zx636r and my cousin had a 04 r6. The r6 didnt have the midrange grunt like the 636r. Up top they seemed fairly equal

I always though the 636 had more power and torque everywhere but the top end. I really expected it to be even power between them from 10,000rpm onwards, bit disappointing the R6 gets eaten top end also. It still is the superior race bike though, nothing more popular than the R6 in super stock racing.

ZX6R is the king horsepower of supersport 600cc. I dislike WSS600 because it's like One Make Race of YZF R6. R6 Still smaller horsepower compare with ZX6R.

Nobody uses 636 for racing. Kawasaki sells a 600cc kit if u want to race. 636, 1100s are for the road. To make it more drivable

im a true suzuki fan boy, who owns that same r6. Suzukis really need to step up there 600cc A game for us track racers. 2006-2022 is basically same as the engine, frame, minor forks, minor fairings. The R6 from 09-2020 is pretty much the same engine and frame minus for the electronics, forks, fairings

The Kawi really is the best bang for the buck in the supersport market. Good bit faster than the R6, and a good bit cheaper as well. The R6 might have it in the handling department, but only if you have the skill to exploit it. The average street rider and occasional track day guy will do better on the Kawi. Way more comfortable too! I need to get back up there and do an actual tuning session on this Z900 RS you flashed for me. Want to see what its putting down and what we can squeeze out of it...

The other day I was watching an official Yamaha Video where the engineers said that they are able to obtain over 158 horse power from the R6 engine. Even with 158HP at crank it should produce atleast 120HP on the wheel in real world performance. So much of electronic breakers.

Exactly, I've been riding Harleys all my life and had two gen 1 Busas. I miss them. The Busa is more comfortable than my StreetGlide once the riders triangle is setup. Also the Busa is less maintenance than a Harley. I find it strange that the gen 3 (new) Busa raised their price to $18,500 from $13,500. Now all the gen 2s are wanting more $ or about the same when they were new! I'm digging the white/blue Busa at the end of this video. I think I'll get that one if I can afford it, otherwise I'll have to get a 2012 and up model. I think that's the yr they had some small upgrades.

Oh, i also had a 05' CBR1000RR Fireblade. Great bike but i got blown around in the wind. The Busa never had an issue in the wind and is more comfy. Coming from a Harley, the Busa is super light for me lol
