I'm 38 I bought my 04 cbr1000rr in 03. Haven't rode it in years been rocking out on a ktm 890 duke r. I love my 1000rr but that ktm just so much more comfortable to ride and still gets down in the twisties

CANBUS: a computer takes care of lots of circuit switching, rather than having a set of wires for every doggone switchable circuit all over the motorcycle. So what this means, if you take a component out of that computer-defined circuit, the computer determines a "fault" and won't allow other computer systems to function until the "fault" is returned to OEM factory definition. A lot of aftermarket simply makes a plug "dongle" which provides the proper electrical feedback in that circuit (fool the computer) to prevent a "fault". In so doing, a hunk of dead weight is removed (throttle valve) without problems.

Nice Video, QQ does it give you lower numbers on a dyno if the tester is sitting on the bike due to added weight so the bike has try harder compared to how you do it which to me would give you actual machine performance.? Thanks

You should make some “how to videos” also for knowledge purposes.. example , tuning with MR12 , tuning with Woolich on street adding & subtracting fuel for good AFR since 95% of the people don’t have Dinos most just run AFR gauge & maybe some 2mill engine building projects .. 🤷🏻‍♂️👍🏻

Is the popping and banging bad? I noticed my bike did it when all I did was put a full titanium arrow exhaust before I got a tune. Even after tune it does it but only when I let off the throttle but barely give it gas then it pops n bangs. IS IT BAD?

On my 23' MT-09SP, I can't physically remove the O² sensor or my cruise control won't work. Its disabled in the flash but it has to be onboard since I love the CC feature. Kinda odd, the 3rd gen 09's don't have AIS/Pair system at all.

So I got my bike dyno tuned and left the o2 sensors in the exhaust however the tuner disabled the o2 sensors cause he said if he didn’t disable the o2 it would mess up the tuning but I want my cruise control back what should I do?

I have a 2023 std MT-10 and I am wondering should I buy the Graves Cat delete system that has the exhaust valve or should I get something like this Akropovic that does not keep the exhaust valve...I read on a forum people think the exup is worth keeping? Very confused what would you choose? I hate the big ol cat but I dont want to make the bike any louder than I have to to get rid of it. EXUP? Or the bulge chamber deal?

My question exactly! I'd love to see Moore Mafia's dyno numbers on an unmodified MT-10 and I also wonder what gains a reflash might bring on a totally stock MT-10. I'm on the R1 I bought new in '98. Carburetors not FI but 5 years into ownership I fitted a Yosh full exhaust that deleted the EXUP valve. Despite some rejetting, low- and mid-range were AWOL so I reinstalled the original exhaust, a Yosh midpipe and the Yosh cannister and pledged I'd never install a full exhaust again but presumably different bikes yield different results and of course all are now FI.

Heard the 2020s had an issue. Don't think the tune would be an issue. This guy know what he is doing. Knock if from factory defect, or never changing the oil and spun rod bearing from heat stess load on bad oil.

That hp 165hp is crank horsepower and not wheel horsepower. The crank produces 165hp but that 10hp is lost when this power is transmitted to the rear wheel. Yamaha and some manufacturers always advertises bike crank horsepower and not wheel

I've had both bikes, still have my MT-10. While I did like the suzuki, I have to admit, to me, it has nothing on the yamaha. Have you ridden both? What's your favorite thing about the gsxs? That being said, the price point for the gsxs is very hard to beat for what you get.
