Can I Catch a Pike Using Volodymyr Zelensky as Bait?!

After looking through Amazon to find wacky lures to try out I came across this little fella Mr Zelensky! With it being topwater and having a prop i figured it would be the perfect bait to get some epic topwater pike action! It was time to see If this was just a silly novelty bait or if it was something that could actually catch fish!

My fist thought was that the spinning blade on Mr Zelenskyy was a bit wide and close to the treble, making a potential of sometimes preventing the hooks engaging. Especially on smaller fish... Great video, as always 👍🐟

Chris is this the Canal that you took Tom and Sean to, night fishing. I can now see how Sean doesn't set the hook as even you struggled till you got the lure right. But you still need to go back to Tom's stretch to give them more lessons on how to catch. Great Vid mate keep them coming.

Kris i hear you talk about style hooks and desidet to share my experience. I must say the moment i changed to single hooks on my baits ,my hook up ratio went higher and started to lose less fish. But im using hard jig rods for the purpose. If I use triple hooks its really bad for the fish cause it tares them apart or even break the hook if its a bigger fish. Hope im beeng helpful to somebody out there. Last but not least with single hooks its safer for me and the fish+ unhooking is a dream.
