Have you reviewed any of the RFID blocking cards they make to put in your own wallet? I'm just now starting to look at these minimalist wallets, but I carve leather as one of my hobbies and would rather try making my own wallet. Are there any RFID cards that really work? Thanks!

im not huge on wallets but now that ive seen your channel it has given me a new appreciation for wallet designs. I saw your videos on the ridge wallets + knockoff video and then i found this video and i was like holy crap look at all the choices. I definately like the xsto and the Dango. I definately love the fact that the dango has soooooooooooooooooo many options for complete and utter variation. I love having variation in my life so being able to switch between stuff would be epic. I dont own any of these but when i can afford I will definately be checking these out for myself (mostly the dango) :D Ty so much for this video

I like the stow wallet so much and have had it for awhile now. I've always wanted a leather wallet but seeing bulky trifolds turned me off from them. The Open Seas wallets look great though, I just might buy theirs

I also got a 10-card XSTO just before Christmas and like it very much so far. I don't carry 10 cards but use the extra space to carry a lot more bills. Very thin gift cards and a few spare checks and car insurance paper fit in the business card section very nicely. I like the Trayvax Contour too but didn't go for it because it's twice the money and requires an extra step to unbutton to access the cards.

Do you carry it in your front or back pocket? I want the 10 card Xsto myself but am afraid it will be uncomfortable when sitting with it in the back pocket. I could always put it in a front pocket but I've just never done that before so I'll have to get used to it.

I have been using a KRATE titanium wallet for the past four years and found that the elastic band has over stretched. Due the KRATE no longer manufacturing I could not get a replacement band. So looking at your shows I have now bought a Dango D01 leather dapper pen wallet. Which I was given for Christmas. It has only been a week. But is easy in the pocket. Hopefully I shouldn't have any problems getting spare parts in the future. Thank you for the review's in helping me choose a wallet suited to my life style.

Great review! I like the Attenuo and the leather wallet best. The problems I have with the XSTO is that I carry other things in my pocket with my wallet, a pocket knife and a space pen, and the open side on the XSTO could lead to card damage. Also I do not like elastic on my wallets. I have had too many elastic things fail over the years and I don’t consider elastic durable enough for a wallet. I’m still enjoying my Trayvax Axis after 4 months and not looking for another wallet but that leather wallet is really attractive. And I love the features on the Attenuo.

You KNOW my take on your top 5 my Friend lol. For a traditional, I DO like the Houbei, but I would put it in my back pocket out of habit. I've got the 8 card XSTO with 15 bills under 12 cards (including paper thin insurance cards) and still have the business card area open for stashing the days receipts. All great wallets. I wasn't to get another one as backup and will probably get one from these five. I do still think my Dango M1 spec ops is by far my favorite. When I added the money clip it made it that much better. Hope you have a safe and great New Year!

Out of all the videos of yours I've been binge watching today, I have picked 2 favorites for me so far, and I'm glad they made it on here. The dango a10 and and the xsto. I personally like the dango better, think it has more functionality, but the xsto was going to "the one" until I saw your video for the dango. I have just recently learned about minimalist wallets, so I'm going to keep watching a bunch of videos and learn more before making a final decision. But the dango is definitely the current contender lol.

My two favourite wallets that you have reviewed are the Akeeni and the A10. Those would be my 1,2. I'm a function over fashion person, but these two are both.

My favourite wallet has just recently become MCpocket air. It is an Austrian made wallet from plastic material but looks and feels great. What I love about it is how easy it is to manipulate 7 cards, cash. It is feather-light and since I carry a wallet in the same front pocket as my phone (I carry keys in another front pocket), it does not scratch the phone. But just before buying it, I was considering xsto wallet, but being a metal, I wasn't sure how I would like it and the other factor that swayed me into other direction is the price, which is 3x the Air wallet and I would have to import it into EU that would bump the price considerably. Still, my heart aches for the xsto and it did when the original came out too (it did not fit EU bills), the new model is just perfect in the looks, functionality and it has a cash pocket which is a must in EU, could also carry coin pocket in 10 card model. Sorry for the long post.

Same! The only thing that could make it better imo is a zipper pocket in the bifold. Sometimes the few coins I have in the secret space between the cards and the bifold rattle when walking, which is annoying.

@@ChrispyThings I’ve had it for about 9 months now. I’ve owned all three versions since the first design release. The first two designs became cumbersome. The current version is more versatile and has a money clip and a lanyard attachment. I like it.

I had the original stow and I still liked my contour better. The contour has been top dog for years now. I like that number 2 leather one tho might give that a shot or the new stow. I still don't think it'll beat my contour tho

I carry too many cards for even the largest xstow. I carry the ridge wallet as my edc. While it’s not perfect it’s the best I’ve used in my opinion.

The Xsto can carry more cards than it says on the website. I've seen videos of people putting 10 cards in an 8 card Xsto, might be a little bit snug and probably won't be able to put as many bills in it. Also, if you don't use business cards, you can put 3 extra cards in the back slot on any sized Xsto.

I'm not crazy about metal wallets. I tried a Dango Zinc wallet but because I keep my wallet in my back pocket it's not very comfortable. That Hoobei looks like my style. I prefer leather minimalist wallets. Right now I carry a Trayvaxx leather wallet.

I see that you love the Contour. I'm tempted but I worry about the form factor and that lanyard hole/eyelet poking my leg or stick out of my pocket. Plus possible top card getting scratched. How is the wallet treating you?

Wow! Rarely have I disagreed as much with a ‘tuber, but still gave you a thumbs up. It’s all opinion... but I hate the A10. I’ve fought it since I got it, and finally pulled all my sh** out of it and relegated it to “THE MOST EXPENSIVE BADGE HOLDER IN EXISTENCE.” Ok, maybe not that bad... but close. And I say that as a Dango fan. Love their M-line, and carry the M with rails all the time. But I gotta say, I hate the A10.

We have very different tastes. The one you love (nbr 4) does not offer any protection to some of the cards. The section you mention you don't use would leave half the card out and exposed to scratches or losing it. The very last one (nbr 5) does not offer any protection to the card on top. Suppose you have something else in your pocket like a key. It will scratch the card. I was surprised you placed Aviator in nbr 5 mostly because of the price. It is by far the best wallet of the bunch. Nbr 2 is beautiful but it also leaves part of the card exposed to damage.

the Akeeni wallet at your number 1 while is good, i own the older version myself, damages my cards in as little use as a month. I had to replace some cards due to the damage they took with just simple uses such as sliding them in and out of the wallet.

The most I’ve had in a pocket was 10 bills folded into quarter. But if you carry more, just get the a10 chassis clip!

Sorry but guys who carry hard plate tacti-cool wallets are boot posers. Leather (or even waterproof technical fabrics) are superior in every way to sitting on some hard chunk of metal and carbon fiber where the closest thing to a patina you are gonna get is "scratched the fuck up".

When "innovation" happens just to facilitate different materials and form factors that objectively make a product worse at performing it's intended function, I don't consider it innovative or interesting to me....just different and worse. Especially hate how everything marketed toward men it's pushed as somehow "tactical", overbuilt, or rugged. "look at me, my $800 flashlight and blue anodized wallet can both crush a person's skull in!" .....Sir, this is a Wendy's.
