I have the burnt titanium wallet, and used it for 5-6 years. The good thing about Ridge is the lifetime warranty. I requested to replace the elastic band and inner plates, but they gave me a brand new wallet. I actually like the used worn look of my wallet so I’m giving the new one to my brother, and ordered the elastic band. Another 5 years of usage, I can still get another replacement of wallet/elastic

Thanks for all your reviews. I've finally decided on the Ridge Stonewash Titanium after binge-watching lots of your minimalist wallet reviews. My husband has had sciatica issues and is constantly pulling his wallet up when he sits down. He needs to declutter and knowing he only needs a few cards with RIFD and a little cash I'm going to force him into the new age he forces me into with electronics. Yes the titanium will scratch easier if next to something metal in your pocket. I don’t have the white Damascus, only the raw stainless and black versions

Am from the UK and I have been using the ridge wallet for over 5 years my first one was gunmetal Ali which I paid 50 quid for moved over to the carbon fiber one 2 years ago and been using that almost every day (yes tired other wallets like trayvax, dango etc) all good wallets in their own rights etc but for small carry ridge wallets are good I carry 3 cards and 20 quid in mines at any one time yes you can hold more but I carry my edc cards Id bank and travel and I have no problem with it 😊😊😊😊

None of these wallets feel cheap. The carbon fiber is light, maybe that’s why people think it feels cheap and plasticky but I think it feels nice. Pretty much how carbon feels in general.

How do you carry the wallet without getting it scratched? I carry my keys in my right front pocket and my phone in my left front pocket. If I put the ridge wallet in either of those pockets it's going to get scratched to all hell. If I put it in with my phone it'll probably tear my phone screen up. Any suggestions?

My advice to anyone considering a ridge wallet as someone who has used one for almost two years, opt for titanium or steel instead of aluminum. I love my wallet and have used it daily for the entire time I’ve had it, but aluminum is very malleable, and the entire wallet began curving outwards after maybe 6 months of using it, granted some days it is in my back pocket. It definitely takes away from how great it looks, currently waiting on my Damascus one now where this hopefully won’t be a problem.

Good advice. But I’d also advise to never carry this wallet in your back pocket. This should only be carried in your front pocket, otherwise the bending mentioned above could happen.

There are ppl who enjoy Hermès, Gucci, Goyard, Cartier & LV wallets. While those may be nice wallets I’m sure price point isn’t an issue for the ppl who buy & enjoy them. You could buy the base model ones. They work just as well. Or if you’re on a budget, go to marshals and buy a $10 wallet like I used to do when I was broke 😭. It gets the job done well too

@@MrLazlness I like the wallets by Aviator better. Have you looked at those? Base model is around $70, there's a thin tray in 8t that slides out for keys, coins, whatever you want. Plus an elastic strap you pull up to get your cards out and you can fan them out to grab the one you want. Best design I've seen yet for this type of wallet.

I like things that are simple and yet classic so my favourite colour for the ridge would be gun metal black or maybe gun metal green but ridge wallets are way to expensive in ordering to sort of test out the ridge experience I got a £15.00 knock off by vulkit that is very similar to ridge without all the extras and spare parts but may eventually upgrade to a rossom which is like around half the price of the ridge and nearly gives you everything that ridge does expect for the lifetime warranty which is mostly meaningless as wear and tear is not included and the most likely thing to break will be one or the peices of elastic but not for awhile if you look after it and not overstuff it which some idiots do

I will mention that I have seen videos here and there that offer comparisons between ridge wallets to something that costs much less. I haven't watched said videos, but I get the feeling they lean towards the cheaper ones. While I will say that "if it works for you, then go for it", I will also say I'm a believer in doing research and the saying "you get what you pay for". Ridge is up there, yes, but I enjoy the Carbon Fiber Ember I just got recently as a bit of an upgrade for the Aluminum one I have (will hand-me-down that to a friend), and I will stand by what I said above for any that want to get a Ridge. :)

In my opinion yes they all are nice but I'd rather pay 15-20 bucks for a wallet every ten or so years. I'd rather buy a car part, tool, or PC upgrade ect.
