Dango D007 Goldfinger LIMITED EDITION Pen Wallet REVIEW!

What are your thoughts on this new D007 Goldfinger from Dango?

Honestly I’m disappointed they just made it the same anodized aluminum in a different colour. It should have been made out of brass to be worth the increased cost and achieve that colour.

Even though your D007 is brand new I can see that it already has scratches on the front plate which is disappointing.

I got one for Christmas. I told my wife I wanted this model. I got it for the GOLD frame. I also purchased the other 2 variants of card sleeves for it in Jet black so I could have options in my carry. All in all, I spent and extra $100 after the coupon codes from the holidays and I have at least 6 wallet combinations I can run . This is by far the coolest wallet and most functional one on the market. All the Haters that cant work the RFID card sleeve on youtube are just looking for quickdraw gunslinger card movement. But who the heck does that at the register? Select your card, pull out, and pay, then replace. Why do your cards need to shoot out at you? Besides, if you carry this wallet, you want to take your time and let people admire it. Thanks Dango for the greatest product in my pockets and its also a notebook. Kills 2 EDC birds with one stone.

Interesting fact about dango pen wallets. I own this one. When you put cash in the middle it actually evens out the wallet. You will notice it sits slightly offset when notebook and pen are installed the extra height provided by cash creates an even appearance and doesn’t bulk up the wallet at all. Food for thought.

I wanted this so bad but was worried about the size when i might not always want or need the pen. Im going from a clunky bifold with an id flap to this and kinda wanted to reduce size as much as possible. Turns out they have a ton of accessories. For 25 bucks i got the regular jet black pocket to turn it into a non pen d007 and im gonna swap out the stainless screws for their Jet black ones. So cool the versatility in these wallets

Does anyone know if the RFID protection interferes with the cards on the outside leather pocket? In other words can you keep a contact less card in the exterior pocket and use it without having to take it out of it's slot because of the RFID protection ?

I bought the D007 Goldfinger pen wallet after buying a pen and notebook separately on the Dango website. I like the look and functionality of the wallet. However, inserting the small notebook in the wallet does make it more difficult to close. That is even without any cards or folded bills inside. I purchased the wallet primarily for traveling. So, I am anxious to give it a try once I am able to travel freely again.

Yeah, I guess you really can put that many cards in the wallet, but it gets so thick and so tightly packed that it will be difficult to use

Expert tip, for the real world. Under the plate you can fit 3 cards with raised numbers, or 4 with flat face (no raised numbers). Also, Bills do great inside under the band and bring the wallet square with the notebook in. Otherwise, it has a slight kink to it favoring the aluminum side. It was designed for this, I like the wallet. Its a good buy for nice dress.

I just checked...again. I fit 4 embossed cards under the plate without the plate “floating” above the frame. 4 embossed plus 1 flat under the plate and it floats slightly but is still manageable. But my tests don’t count because I don’t live in the real world. Damn. Carry on...👍🏻

@@ChrispyThings HAHA. That was just my assessment. As you say, cards vary. 2 Cabelas Credit Cards (raised) and 2 debit cards without raised numbers equals float on my model, But that mine. Cards are funny that way.

I’ve been waiting for this video, but for the D01 Dapper Pen. I think the silver and black is really sleek. Where do you recommend putting your driver ID? Also, where you do you put receipts? I never see that in these videos....

I don’t show my ID in my videos for good reason. But I usually put it in one of the outside pockets. Receipts can go right where your cash goes. Under the silicone band. Thanks for watching!

You forgot to mention wheather or not you can fit another card into where the actual tool fits. Did you not get the tool as well? I did, so that's why I was wondering if a card would fit in there. I'm apprehensive to try it bc of the sharpness of the tool, I don't want to ruin one of my cards. I don't have a demo card to try it with.

The multi tool? Yes you can fit cards in with it. As long as the flat side faces the cards.

Hi, i've watched your Dango product reviews and seemed to be really good one's, i made a purchase this past Labor day but i never received the merchandise i got billed for.
