@@justinbrewer5491 yes, I ordered the M1 wallet. It's definitely got some weight compared to my leather wallets. It's more for me and a conversation piece. I'm very happy with the wallet overall. I got the black coated one so it does chip over time. So if that worries you I would go with the silver finish. I hope that helps!

I know this is a bit late - but I am curious as to how it works with atypical sized cards. I have a couple of cards I need to have on me that are more keychain sized so they fit fine in a standard wallet slot, but I doubt they would work in this form factor.

They could work in the full pockets or even sandwiched between cards in the metal slider portion, but yes, if they're small they'll likely have problems.

The Dtex is very impressive. Feels durable, but it's still flexible unlike wallets by KeySmart and Pioneer who use alternative materials.

I guess I’m just old school and always will be on most stuff like that I guess.. I carry a Saddleback Wallet.. Lifetime warranty, if even a stitch pops on the leather they’ll replace it free.. They all come with a business card that says “They’ll fight over it when you’re dead.”

Just received my M1 from Amazon. Beautiful wallet and fine craftsmanship. Unfortunately, I had to return it. it is about the same size as a brick and would not fit in my pocket. My previous wallet was 7/8 inch thick with all contents. I transferred all the contents into the M1 and it was just shy of 2 inches thick after smooshing it together. Not sure how people can fit these in their pockets.

walletopia the issue I’m having is that I have a badge that I need to carry. I use my issued badge holder from 1997. I have been looking for over 20 years for a decent wallet which will hold a badge and have yet to find one. Any suggestions ??

I understand the leather has improved from my original review when it was genuine, not something better like top or full grain. Even in a genuine leather situation it performed well when we did a carry test on it.

I wonder why this product doesn't have a mark that it is made in USA. Some companies are so proud to put it in their product. Or maybe it's just assembled in the US that's why they are not allowed to say made in the US. You can only read designed in California which is typical for chinese made asembled in the USA.

@@walletopia Maybe look into first? Is it b.s.? It is legit? If you are going to mention it, perhaps have some supporting info to go with it. Some arms channels mention "mil-spec" this and "mil-spec" that. Sometimes its just thrown because it sounds cool or will help sales. But it would be nice to know just what they mean by the term and whether or not its being used appropriately and honestly. Thanks

@@thewolfchild Oh it's tacticool for sure because not all "mil-spec" is good, depends on what it is. In the tacticool world, it's a buzz word. In a situation like this I'm not going to look into it because it doesn't really matter. ,Anything can be "mil-spec" from every piece of the SIG P320 standard side-arm, which you'd expect, to a toothbrush or toilet seat and everything in between. Whatever the military procures has to meet "spec" for bidding purposes. So if it is or isn't really doesn't matter unless mil-spec matters to you, because I know the lowest bidder also produces mil-spec and I wouldn't use a life dependent device just because it's mil-spec.
