Cut it in vellum then apply the craft dots. Then it looks like what we called a silver dollar tree. The craft dots represent the seed in the vellum see thru areas. Just an idea

Another very pretty card. I have a die similar to this one. I usually cut the base layer from vellum twice, stick the little seeds onto the bottom layer vellum circles then adhere the 2nd die cut on top, sandwiching the seeds in between. The outline die-cut piece can then be put on top of the vellum piece and it looks quite realistic❤❤❤

I use Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink when I want to use white and it works very nicely. I made holiday cards on Kraft card using an embossing folder highlighted with unicorn white and added pearlescent splatters and a popped up gold sentiment. Very effective. Almost CAS! Your sentiment finished that card off beautifully.

White ink is generally a pigment ink and is opaque. You’d need a lot of layers to turn Kraft card white. It is great for ghost stamping and underneath other colours on Kraft card to make them brighter. Jennifer Maguire has a great video about using white ink.

What a special die! We grew up calling it a money plant. Mom grew it every year and we all became fond of it. I was not surprised when preparing to sell our family home that everyone wanted to have a plant or seeds for it. Mom had a garden of unique plants, as her gift was floral design. The plant grew very green with small purple flowers that became these seed pods. In the fall the plant would dry out and become tan. When very dry you would rub the flat pod and both sides would come off to leave an almost white shimmery layer in the. Very fine frame. If all was done it became much like the cut out. They would gently become a decor item. I would love to find a money plant de!

We call it Honesty. Money plants are a succulent which grows like a bush with small thick leaves. Never known it to bloom

Yes, fond memories of these from childhood. Beautiful in Fall vase. The little round shapes are for the seeds that grow inside the transparent pods!

​@@hazelsavill1497 there are white and purple flowering varieties - there's a purple one growing wild on the path to my station I have my eye on! They look very much brassica family while at the flowering stage but you definitely need the flowers to get the seed pods.

I don’t know why KZbin unsubscribes us from the people we want to watch and support by watching.!?! It doesn’t mean anything to them but it gives the creator the message that people just don’t want to see their videos anymore…. I’m SO sorry, Chris, this has been happening to you. It’s awful that you were concerned about something that THEY did!! Honestly, I don’t believe anyone would ever tire of you channel…I can’t imagine anyone unsubscribing even if they can’t always watch the video when it’s posted….they may just catch up with them later when there’s time. I’m subscribed and the notifications bell is selected. I appreciate your informing us about this issue. This is a very lovely card! I love the textures from the linen, twine and dots on the leaves! PS - random thoughts... I think the Core Ink line is hybrid ink, similar to Distress Oxides. If you're looking for an opaque white, get the Hero Arts Unicorn White pad. It's a pigment ink that works well (but is slow drying, as is all pigment ink). You could use gilding flakes to adhere to any residual stickiness from the glue. I bet foil remnants from previous projects would do the trick with less mess. Anyway, you persevered and ended up with a great card! 🩷👍👍👍

I can’t bear sticky fingers. I can do inky but not sticky 🫣🤦‍♀️. You could take advantage of the tackiness and adhere foil or flakes ;). Beautiful card as always.

Im a “no sticky fingers” person also! 😂. I’ve been trying to find the mini pearls you use…i can find the packs with multiple sizes, but love the tiny ones you use! I had to look that plant up as I had never heard of it. Very pretty! I have checked regularly but have never found that I have been unsubscribed from your channel. Morning Christine when taking you dies off the card after buying them try using your heat tool or hair dryer on the back side to soften the glue a little and they come off easier. Love your cards

I can get dies off easily, I was referring to polymer stamps which are sometimes so difficult to remove from their carrier sheets.😊
