I Bought The CHEAPEST (And Worst) 2003 SVT Mustang Cobra - NEW PROJECT!!

I went and did it again: Bought a 03-04 SVT Cobra AND Bought a project car that needs a TON of work. Unlike the 04 Screaming Yellow coupe previously seen on this channel, this very sad 2003 Sonic Blue Cobra is FAR from mint condition. But with a lot of work and hopefully a lot of good, quality content, I'll be bringing this one back from the dead! Solid project! I have such a soft spot for these. Bought one back when it wasn’t even 2 years old with under 2k miles. It was a fun journey to mod it back in the day! Aside from the big power Supra’s these were untouchable in my area when heavily modded. I miss those days!

Even my 99 2v GT with basic bolt ons was enough performance to blow away 90% of stock "sporty" cars at the time. Those SS Camaros, WS6's, 3000GT's, Supras, and yes, Terminators were my nemesis. I never played with NSX, Lambos, Ferrari's or Porsches for obvious reasons. This video makes me want to go buy a Cobra...

I remember this car when he posted it for sale. A lot of us wanted it for the price he posted and I probably would’ve bought it if it were closer. I’m kind of glad I didn’t though seeing that it was SRA swapped, the carpet being burned, and overall just seeing how much work it needed. I was too far anyway, but this is definitely a good solid project and in the hands of the right person to help restore it.

TOW RIG- sweet platinum edition truck, TRAILER- nice open steel trailer, CAR-nice project car, but damn that winch with a WIRED CONTROLLER, You can add a wireless remote for that winch, then you could of stay warm and dry and not have to keep re adjusting the wheel then walking back to hit the winch controller, wireless remote sit in it steer the car and stay dry, just picking love the channel

Always do a week day if you got a choice and a busy city is involved lol everyone’s off on the weekends, of course NYC is gonna be crazy on a Saturday! Dope car tho, beautiful! I can tell you’re a car guy, very surprised you purchased this, spending over $13k, and didn’t crawl below to check it out knowing that 100+K miles were def hard miles with all the cheaper aftermarket on it. Not like crazy Chinese cheap luckily but still, the piss poor wiring and the fact dude didn’t even take an hour or two (or $50) to clean it before posting and having someone come check it out really shows his love for the thing.

I love these cars.. 99-04 Ford is my favorite generation for the whole line up. My first car was an 01 true blue gt and now I have a 19gt and an 02 Lightning. Eventually I'm getting a termi or saleen sc. I forgot about the weird headliner netted cubby. My buddy had an 03 v6 and I always thought his dad added it from an Explorer or something since his yard was littered with different cars weekly lol. Great video. Subscribed.
