One of the greatest domestic cars that’s been created since the 60s. Virtually indestructible hence the nickname. The aftermarket was/is endless, they sounded insane. The 4.6 was a great motor, but the SVT 32valve was incredible. I’ve seen countless (many times over) video’s of 03/04 cobras, they ALL put a smile on your face. And they’re still one of the best looking cars out there. I’m a 6th gen ZL1 owner.

One of the only ways to make a 03 Cobra look bad is with chrome lipped wheels. Certainly one of my favorite cars from early 2000s. Nothing beats a kenne bell whipple, or ported Eaton on these cars. They sound insane!

I was about to say this. Nothing Shelby about this car. Really nothing Shelby about a 07+ GT500 as Ford developed it and not Carroll Shelby, it's just the evolution of the Mustang Cobra. Ford just likes to throw nostalgic names on the side of a Mustang to try and justify a high Mustang price tag. If you've got to put someones name to this car calling it a Coletti Cobra would be more accurate.

I had a pullied 2004 Cobra... now have a 2020 GT350. The Terminator was a torque monster but the GT350 is just a better car in so many ways. Twin Turbo a GT350 and you are king of the world.

My 03 Terminator had 2.5" pulley, RWTD tune, Magnaflow cat back, LFP intercooler and MGW short throw shifter. A VERY fun car to drive.

I know right, I tell people that all the time. 96 through 04 Mustang SVT Cobra was Ford not Shelby. Shelby was an aftermarket thing basing it on the Cobra platform, and modified through Shelby American. Now they even do it with the GT500 Shelby, calling it a Shelby Cobra, the Cobra platform was Ford and SVT and they haven't put one out since 2004. The Shelby is just called Shelby even some of the earlier cars that Shelby came out with us I want to stay somewhere around 99 to about 03 time frame it still had the Shelby name on it but kind of look like a Camaro. It's an aftermarket performance package kind of like Hennessy, Chip Foose Exedra

Like that he was humble and didn’t instantly start with the “Terminator” this and the “Terminator” that….2 of the best years of stangs ever for me personally (being of a slightly younger stang admirer) the 2003-2004 SVT was an instant favorite for me and it was that strange and obnoxiously badass “whine” as it ripped past you til without warning, in literally an instant, gave you, like a slap to the face, amnesia because the exhaust was almost even more badass than the infamous Eaton Blower whine that made those 2 years of SVT Cobras the legendary blown road beasts that went down in history for being the 1st successful boosted, factory, huge horsepower, game changing, trend setting car it was! (can you tell that I like them alot ?) ? ….I’ll shut up now….

Before the magana flow resonators that's all I heard. But yes. I can't hear the blower now at all. However, you'll be surprise a ported eaton sounds and also a KB S/C sound way louder than a Whipple S/C .
