Chrissy and Pepper Taste Test Store-Bought Pad Thai

The only Pad Thai I'll eat is mom's Pad Thai. I'm lucky that she makes it almost every week with either shrimp, chicken, bacon-or if you're lucky, all three combined-in her regional Korat-style that's a little sweeter with a thicker sauce. On one of our late night grocery runs, we were shocked to see a ton of different packaged versions of Pad Thai, both in the freezer aisle and in meal kits you make yourself. We decided to buy them ALL and do a taste test to see if any of them could come close to how good mom's is, ranked from zero to Pepper Thai. Some of these frozen dishes were shockingly good whereas others... let's just say maybe order takeout if you're not in the mood to make it yourself. My mom is from Korat too and I have to say that my mom’s Pad Thai is amazing! It’s hard to top our mom’s Pad Thai, especially when you compare it to pre-made store bought ones. Your mom reminds me a lot of my mom in terms of cooking style. She cooks all the things my mom cooks and pretty much exactly the same way. You’re mom is amazing!

Sorry for your loss. My wife and I went though IVF and lost twin boys at 5 months. They lived one hour. We went though 5 miscarriages after. The last one my wife did nothing from day one. Were were told the first pregnancy to keep active and exercise. That’s what caused the miscarriage from a weak cervix. I was lucky to have twins 7 years ago survive.

So sorry for your loss honey. My daughter lost her baby the EXACT same way..she was almost 19wks and starting bleeding in her 15th week..everyday bleeding..nothing stopped it. Placental detachment at the corner of the placenta...it was a boy, she named EVER..We had him cremated. This happened July 29th 2020, she still has bad days and good days...So sorry again sweetheart.

Yes. Pad thai originated from chinese cuisine. It was an intervention came along when we started trading with them. Local vendors started incorporated noodles in their products so they could sell to both the thais and the chinese. Anything Thai with noodles or stir fried with sauce are likely derived from chinese cuisine. Original thai cuisine are usually traditions found in the countryside.
