Most people think Chrissy is pregnant but you can see she was using her finger to puke and when that scene happens you can hear “her” mother say “fat pig” she struggles with her mother's emotional abuse over her weight so that’s why she was using her finger to puke.

Yeah, all her visions relate to food, being fat (in her mind, or in the mind of her mom), and needing to lose weight. The real tragic part is her dad, having his eyes and mouth sewn shut. He apparently does not see the way his wife is abusing their daughter, or doesn't say anything about it. It's a see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil kind of thing.

Seriously big shout-out to the actress for the Chrissy character though. She got only a few minutes on screen, for a single episode of this series, but she managed to be incredibly sympathetic, and her death was so horrifying in large part because we did care for her. She also had an amazing amount of chemistry with Eddie. I know the creators wished, in retrospect, that they could have kept her around just a little bit longer. This season is a real heavy-hitter for acting, though. So many stand-out performances, as you'll come to see. A few people are going to be enjoying very successful careers after this, and everyone will point to this season of television as to why they got their big breaks.

Yeah, this is a dark season. I love it. Season 3 was way too goofy, leaned too much into the humor. The humor was always there in Stranger Things, but only to make the horror of the first couple seasons more serious by comparison. Season 4 does a better job with the balance between the too. It leans in hard to the horror, the drama, and lets the humor serve as an effective contrast while the stakes remain high. The characters don't feel like they have plot armor even when they're joking around.

Rolling a 20 in D&D, called a natural 20 or "nat 20", is a critical hit. The attack hits no matter what, and the player gets to roll again for extra damage. As a player, rolling bigger numbers is always better, but 20 is special. Normally to hit you need to roll a certain value on the dice, plus some other number you add based on your character stats, and you're trying to beat some other number, representing a defensive value, such as armor. But with a 20 you can forget all that math, because you hit regardless.

The craziest thing about the monster for season 4 is that it’s mainly practical effect with some CGI added. Don’t look into it yet, like don’t google who plays him or anything, it’ll spoil it for you, but it’s crazy that the monster was actually there in the scenes. It took like 6 hours in makeup or something ridiculous.

Wow, I can't believe no ones typed it yet and I know I don't really need to tell you guys this since its been almost a year since this dropped and I doubt you'll see it either way but I'll still leave the comment for those who look for it in the future like I did. Special K is a street name for the anesthetic taken as a feel good drug / intense hallucinogen known as Ketamine As a teenager I was given someone else's acid by accident and theirs was dosed with ketamine. I had never done it before and since then I haven't either but I was really into acid at the time. I took all 4 that I had gotten and ended up in a 3-4 hour k-hole (a k-hole is what happens when you dance the very fine line of a lil feel good drug / feel like you're falling into a black hole for a hot min whilst also having all the other effects) I remember starting to stiffen out and the only reason I know it was that long was I remember the song i started feeling weird at and went through my history and counted the length of each video that played after. I remember hearing sirens in a song but unable to move because i was stuck stiffened out in my bed from too much of a drug i had never intended to take in the first place, convinced myself the sirens were in real life and my mom had found me and called the paramedics. ALLLL that and more just because I had a no phone rule once I took acid and couldn't see the dealer trying to tell me I had got the wrong ones. So from someone who has had way too many close calls and bad experiences like that to count, DON'T DO DRUGS KIDS!
