Here is our Morning Shift system that helps us kick off our day semi organized with 5 kids 8 and under 😜❤️
Y’all have asked how I have the energy I do in some of my videos and it’s cause of my husband! He wakes up with all the kids and makes them breakfast so I can get more sleep while I grow our 6th child 😝❤️🤗
While he has the kids here is what I do..
1) Get ready for the day
2) Make beds. The older ones make their own beds and I make the little one’s
3) Open all the windows in the house. I do this whether it be rain or shine! Get that fresh air in and stale air out! It’s also an instant mood booster!
4) Start a load of laundry
5) Eat and family time
6) Set up homeschool
Notice how there isn’t much cleaning in the morning shift? We like to take our mornings slow 🤗 Breakfast dishes and kitchen mess get cleaned up during the afternoon shift ❤️
Was this helpful? Let me know if you want me to share more of our systems! I would love to hear vours! What do vou do to maintain the house with little ones?

The amount of assumptions stated as facts is WILD!!! None of these commentators who are leaving such wild assumptions even follow me therefore don’t see most of my content and are making judgements and stating them as facts from a 30 second video And before anyone says “you shouldn’t be this upset by comments” trust me, I am not losing sleep over them. 😂 But I am very much allowed to address comments that are completely false and being stated as fact. 🤗 Yes I said I was tired…like every other person in the world when they first wake up 😂 It’s not complaining. It’s not making myself a victim (that one was a WILD take when I read that). I simply stated “I am tired” which is valid given I am very pregnant 😂 It doesn’t mean I don’t want kids. Every single person mentions they are tired at some point in the day. Does that mean they should just give up whatever it is that is making them tired? No that would be ridiculous! The assumptions about our finances is absolutely mind boggling. While it is no one’s business, I don’t mind addressing it. ❤ I will make a more in depth video but my husband is 40 and has worked many many many years to get his business where it is. He graduated with a Masters in Computer Science. He has been a talented software developer since 19. He has spent many long hour, days and nights to get his company where it is. The whole goal was to get it running efficiently so he could work with more flexible hours in order to be home with the kids more. That was always the goal and we feel incredibly blessed that goal was reached. I had several years where I was alone with the kids most of the days. I am not complaining about that I am simply stating a fact. In terms of our house. We don’t have a nanny we DO have housecleaners and I am incredibly transparent about that. To expect me to put a disclaimer about that though on every single video that shows my house is ridiculous. The housecleaners come twice a month but my husband and I have developed systems to keep our house tidy. I share those systems here. A big one is the “closing shift” (hence why this is titled the “morning shift”) We get the house tidy before bed. This video is taken first thing in the morning and all the kids are outside. It hasn’t had time to get messy yet but I assure you definitely does. Every single day it gets incredibly messy 😂 But again, we have systems in place to keep it organized when it’s clean up time. I show the mess and the systems but everyone commenting negativity refuses to scratch beneath the surface and makes assumptions off of one video. Y’all this is a video showing a glimpse into one hour of our morning. Some mornings are wonderful like this and some are hard. I feel like there is a lot of negativity surrounding parenthood so I like to show the beautiful moments too. ❤ While I understand my day may look different than others it’s important to remember that this is my channel, where I share MY life 🤗❤️ Much love ❤

Sorry you’re going through that! People Are simply Projecting on to you! I am a single mom, I keep the house clean, prepare meals, do laundry etc- and also homeschool. I’ve also pulled this off working remotely too. Unfortunately people who don’t have the energy- or proper systems in place will swear it’s staged, not real, or anything that’s false and that’s ok. Just keep being grateful for what you have, and be even happier that some people can’t fathom Your success and would rather tear you down. I am not a subscriber- you popped up in my recommended- but I passed no judgments as your life looked similar to mine- minus the husband lol. I use connections academy for my homeschooling. It makes it easier! Plus he still works with a teacher and gets to connect with other kids who are homeschooled on camera! Enjoy your life, if you’re nice, people will have something negative to say, if you’re mean they’ll have something negative to say. We cannot control this. We can only control how we internalize their comments. If necessary - turn your comments off for a while. I know it hurts engagement- but it may help. You’ve heard plenty of times- the negative comments pay you. So- let them pay you.

A lot of them are mad that they’re married to an estranged roommate who doesn’t help . 😂😮‍💨 I mean.. husband. But also won’t take control of their lives by leaving. They just create excuses for themselves and talk crap about other people who are happy.

Totally thought she was pulling on scrubs and getting set to do rounds. A close friend of mine's a nurse; she's one of 15 kids and her mother was a charge nurse at a local hospital - hell, anyone with 15 kids *should* be in-charge. Two of her deliveries happened while she was at work; she worked the early shift and then just took the elevator up to L&D (slacker). Maybe after 13 deliveries, your body doesn't bother with labour anymore? I'll bet the last two slid-out like harp seals!

This. None of this is even possible without wealth. I'm sure my ex would have loved to be around and help more but he was working 15 hour days for 3 weeks at a time, just to get a few days off for sleep and back at work again, we still didn't have enough to even pay our bills. People really don't understand that most lower income families work 10x harder than middle class people. Try keeping up with kids while doing manual labor and customer service jobs, it's certainly didn't look like this. The truth is she has the energy to do all of this because none of her mental energy is being used up worrying about basic needs.

Listen I totally love that you and your husband are great teammates and he does his fair share and supports you to get that extra bit of rest during pregnancy but all these comments praising him like he’s a literal angel because he woke up with his OWN KIDS and got them ready for the day and fed them is just so ridiculous. No one on earth would praise a mom for waking up with her own children in the morning and making them breakfast. It’s just normal, daily routine. So can we stop acting like when a man does it, the woman is “blessed” as if he’s doing her job for her or something rather than it being that he’s doing HIS JOB like he should be?
@edel3585
@edel3585 Ай бұрын
Of course we can all stop, but you are missing the point. There is nothing wrong with showing kindness and appreciation for one another and noticing these little things that one does for another person. It's probably what keeps their relationship strong. Besides, other channels show perfect wives cooking and preparing everything for tired husbands or moms preparing ultra-healthy meals for toddlers and people are saying the same thing about these women, but it's their duty, isn't it? I am not sure how authentic these channels are, but in real life, it is really a blessing to have a good, considerate, hardworking, and helpful spouse.

People are praising him because there are so few who do step up to the plate AFTER the baby gets here. Don't you like being told " good job" or way to go, atta boy or atta girl even tho it's something you should be doing. Appreciation makes ALOT of difference in most peoples lives.

@@FaytheInGodIt's rather strange to br told "Good Job" for taking responsibility of the decisions you make. I guess we can appreciate that the father is taking care of his children...this feels like an embarrassingly low bar. Just because some parents are neglectful doesn't mean those who aren't are doing anything special or sacred worth parading. Their following a role description that they chose.

The sad fact is that this is NOT as common as you would hope. My ex did literally nothing to help me with our child, ever. @@edel3585but we won't stop😂. Because whether someone likes it or not, whether we have opinions and have become so open minded, some things will always be what they are so it's us instead who will need to realize the world has a status quo, get over it and move on. Because the truth is we all know even if the children's are the father's too, getting a man who actually goes that extra mile is a gift. So hell yeah, she's blessed! I hope and pray that you remember to get on your knees and thank God for all of your blessings. Do you thank God for what you have? You may not have what she has and nor do I, but I still thank the Lord every day for what I have - my life, a functioning brain and body that I am able to work to take care of my family, my little home that is a shelter from the elements, my health, my husband, children, family, friends, my elderly parents, the vegies and fruit from my garden etc. You may not have what she has but I am certain that you have much to be thankful to the Lord for. Edit - it is extremely naive of you to assume that they have not nor do not work hard. Her husband is a software engineer who started his own company that is now very successful. She explained this in one of her shorts. Many hours of hard work and sacrifice were given to earn a software degree, start up a company and work hard and long hours to have that company be successful. I know the level of hard work and sacrifice that is required to achieve this. My brother graduated with a computer science degree (scholarship). He started his own company 24 years ago that today employs 20 employees. The hard work, sacrifice and hours that he put in to make it successful and provide for his family and employ others should not be underestimated. When he started, he was working 7 days a week on his own. Getting up at 7am and going to sleep at 2am. Making a business successful takes hard work, sacrifice and dedication.

The older ones make their own beds and I make the little one’s 3) Open all the windows in the house. I do this whether it be rain or shine! Get that fresh air in and stale air out! It’s also an instant mood booster! 4) Start a load of laundry 5) Eat and family time 6) Set up homeschool Notice how there isn’t much cleaning in the morning shift?
