As Diane and the late founder Roger McMurrin’s current neighbor, this performance brings tears to my eyes as we prepare to celebrate Christ’s resurrection. Thank you for carrying on Roger and Diane’s legacy with the extraordinary orchestra and chorale he founded many years ago. I sure do miss Roger as I’m sure many of in Ukraine do as well! Any idea why the male and female singers are intermixed on the risers? I've performed many Rutter arrangements but always with SATB sections, so I'm wondering if it was the conductor's choice, a local custom, the arranger's suggestion, etc. It certainly helps blend the sound. (I put my comment here because you and I seem to be the only ones commenting on the musical arrangement and not on the political circumstances or ecclesiastical timing of our postings, Spring 2022, as the concert was posted in November 2019, when neither war nor Easter (nor even Covid) were on anyone's mind.)
