Sym didn't have the two ultimates on release, it was only the tp before her first rework. Prawn was eliminated for being right

I feel like these people forgot that Symetra did only have the teleporter in the very early stages in the game's launch. It was only when she had the shield generator when they removed her original individual ability to give temporary shields to specific characters. Then replacing it with a shield that used to propel itself in a single direction. During that time of her rework; that is when you had the option to switch from a teleporter to a shield generator.

If anyone said otherwise, they misspoke because all the veterans on this episode started playing in 2016-2017 Edit: I went back to find who said it and it was Spyrise. They def must’ve misspoke or misunderstood the question because yeah they started playing in 2016.

What really bugs me is these so called “veterans” voted out the imposter on a correct answer, the two ultimates option was added to Symmetra in a rework, before that Sym only had teleporter.. Prawn said so many bad answers before that which showed they didn’t know anything about overwatch in the past, but apparently the veterans didn’t either 🙄

just gonna say Prawn deserved to last longer in this mini game, because he was Correct. Even I knew that it was Just the TP Sym had for her Ultimate, since I've played OW1 from 2016, mostly as a QP andy, but I do remember seeing double shield, Goats, and dive bleed into the mode altogether, which made the game unfun to play _I just wanted to play as Rein, Junkrat, and Reaper dang it_ ( I did play comp on and off, at times highest I got was Gold, then didn't bother afterward after getting gold skins for Genji and Torb who were my most unplayed characters but still wore em with pride and still do while brushing up with them now.) Plus Photon barrier was one of her abilities, not to mention when she had to manually placed her turrets up to 6 total _"Goin thru the Carwash Yeah."_ that died with One Winton primary (or anything else that sneezed at them) Then The overshield generator and some buffs, before they changed her to what is she is now which is Sym 3.0 from the end of OW1. and Oh boi was it "fun" to hunt down that generator. _Not._ Not to mention, the Auto latch on with her primary fire? It was fun at times but it was hella stupid with low damage and troll potential.

Symmetra, aka, Rework Queen, for having the single largest pool of kit changes in the history of this game. From gaining/losing her shield generator, losing her shield gifting, losing three turrets, losing a throwable shield, losing lock-on fire, then the changes to her teleporter and ultimate.
