Yep, you got a christensen arms alright, itd be odd if you weren’t having issues

I think I would never own a gun from a manufacturer that can't get that right. A malfunctioning trigger is DANGEROUS to anyone around the weapon and I wouldn't want it anywhere near me.

I would avoid Sig at all costs. Unless being a beta tester is your thing. Every recent gun has had issues. 320 wasn't drop safe. 365 had the striker redesigned multiple times. Cross had trigger issues.

it appears to be caused by that "detent" as you cock the bolt. When it hits the end of its throw it torques the bolt away from the trigger causing the sear to disengage. The bolt doesn't pop like that with the safety on, keeping the sear engaged.

The Triggertech trigger is probably out of spec. It is to tight in the receiver is my guess.

I was thinking it could be that

I think going for custom Gucci parts is a mistake.
@EpikArmsАй бұрын
@almostontimehero5415 this factory rifle comes like this, technically not custom.

It's not the weight of trigger pull, it's the sear engagement. If I were you, I'd take it to a competent gunsmith for assessment and adjustment.

Christensen Arms having QC issues? Noooo, never. Poor accuracy, cheap stocks, lousy factory trigger set up.

lol i had heard these rumours but i wanted to hear for myself... and this is what it is

@@EpikArms theyre ok for elk hunting and stuff. But after selling them for work and owning a fair few of their full line up I couldnt sell them to people. Sad cause its a relatively inexpensive super light rifle and I thought it’d be perfect for elk hunting in the sub 6-700 yard range but with 20+ reload combos with various .30cal bullets I couldnt get any of my rifles to shoot under 2” groups. Sad that you had to go through it man, thankfully a proof barrel and a quick blueprint makes alot of the issues go away, the TriggerTech can be fixed yourself as you described already in the video. Best of luck man.

I'd change out the TriggerTec trigger and or firing pin.. sear. something out of spec here...never had too much trouble out of TriggerTec trigger so I might lean toward firing pin sear

It’s an overpriced POS from Christensen Arms. I wouldn’t expect anything less from them. I’ve never understood why people keep buying them, they’re the American version of NEA. Maybe they will follow suit and have a name change like …..BCL?
