Hi, I’ve just stumbled across this video, and I’ve found it very informative. Im currently on level 3, and I’m struggling with remembering the theories. Do you have any tips? Thank you in advance. Sharon

I’m really glad to read it was helpful for you. In terms of remembering theories, I’m not too sure of any particular method. Is it a general memory tip you are looking for or specific to Counselling theories?

How many key concepts are there

This was a series I made up for the channel, but there are 4 different videos covering a variety of topics - hope that helps

Probably semantics but I would say it's not so much that we're putting our trust in the clients but rather in the process. If the clients growth is thwarted then they might have traits that aren't trustworthy.

Interesting point. How do we define “untrustworthy traits”?
@redlady9353 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisTheCounsellor well, for instance someone might be into theft or murder or rape. Those are pretty untrustworthy in my view.

This is the whole thing about the actualising tendency - it isn’t value driven or ethical/moral; murder, theft, rape could still all be signs of the actualising tendency

Thanks a lot for your comment. My hope is that the channel covers all of these aspects. Are there any particularly that you feel are missing or could do with further exploration?

Hey! Amazing videos mate. I recently subscribed to your channel and as a bit off topic I would like to know if you're from the Midlands or north, your accent is quite lovely :) Have a great day!

Hehe thanks a lot! Yes, I am from Lancashire but live down south now. Glad the accent has survived and thank you for you support!

I love your videos! They have helped me so much, so thank you! Could you do a video on Lambers’ formulation or the Simms model if that has any relevance to you? 😊

Hi Katie, thank you so much for the lovely comment. Unfortunately that is not something that I am too familiar with and so probably couldn’t do it much justice! Apologies about that but hope to get some other content out soon

Hi i done my Diploma in Person Centred Counselling at CONEL some time back. I am looking for a copy of a paper called the'" final paper" it was a list of questions. can anybody help ?
@ChrisTheCounsellor4 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, I’ve not heard of this before. Do you have any more details about it? In “final”, do you mean Rogers last writing?
@michael27004 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris thank you for your swift reply I tried to find Rogers last writing on line but no luck neither finding that. All i member is that it was 1 or 2 A4 sheets with some questions on it and a space under each question to fill in. Cant remember any of the questions neither. i got rid of all my course work during a big clean up some time back, bad move eh
