I have been praying about it a lot and I’m trying to get discernment on what my convictions are, as well as knowing the word says about things related to that. I was curious as to what your stance on that was do you and your family celebrate? Are there things that you do and things that you don’t do? Thank you so much.

Hi! May I recommend to you the YT channels Doreen Virtue & Melissa Dougherty? They help believers w/discernment & biblical texts concerning New Age stuff, Halloween, yoga etc. They are both Christian women (married to godly husbands & they are also moms). I really like their channels. I also recommend Alisa Childers (a Christian wife & homeschooling mom) who has an apologetics ministry working w/her husband. May GOD use these things to bless your spiritual growth & discernment 😊 I personally don't celebrate Halloween as an American Christian because my Haitian parents having immigrated here b4 I was born understand it be associated w/voodoo worship in the Caribbean. It's only within 🇺🇸 that it is celebrated for fun & have some churches doing a Fall Festival version. Even the latter I do not support. I believe churches shouldn't even have a "Christian version" of it. The Jewish synagogues & Muslim mosques don't do it, I think. Why must we? Why can't we just ignore it & just do hay rides & fun autmunal activities that have ZERO dark connotations (until Thanksgiving rolls around)?

Hey! My son and I do not celebrate Halloween or do trunk or treats. My church has never done anything in the past but this year we’re hosting an outreach event at a city park with multiple Gospel presentations.
