Although thats somewhat true, the kid played every series, every game. We only had like a 7 or 8 man rotation and he was on it getting solid minutes every night. He didn’t perform crazy offensively but he was exactly what was needed on defense and had a couple key nights that helped us get wins. He was by no means just “in the right place at the right time.” He was drafted and did exactly what he needed to do

To everyone talking shit on Christian Braun, the kid was in a small rotation championship winning team, playing and getting minutes every night. You think Malone just threw him out there for fun? He was key on defense and showed up every night, playing hard and not giving an inch. He might not have been jokic or Murray on offense but he pressured and created difficult shots on defense every night, and still had his moments scoring. There was no ego with his game and he knew what his role was and had no problem playing it. In case no one payed attention, that’s why Denver won this year. Team basketball beats star players every time. It’s why the spurs had a dynasty for so long.
