I would love to know if he held the Chromatic Star specifically to play around Kroxa, or if it was primarily just to put the extra counter on Walking Ballista. Either way, absolutely incredible playing from him the entire match.

why do they repeatedly shuffle if their hands? Does it throw your opponent off? Are they hoping to magically produce another card?
@RafitoOoO
@RafitoOoO Жыл бұрын
Anxiety
@corvinhc
@corvinhc Жыл бұрын
The main reason at high level play is to conceal what you've drawn. When you don't shuffle your hand your opponent will know what cards you keep holding and what are the ones you are playing from the top of your deck. Like for example, let's say an opponent thoughtseizes you and sees a lightning bolt, now next turn you top deck another lightning bolt, if you dont shuffle your hand and just play it immediately your opponent will know that you still have one left, if you shuffle your hand first he will probably assume it's the one he saw with thoughtseize. The same is true for cards you expect but dont know according to the deck they're playing and might be holding, over time most skilled players can estimate a range of cards that players could be holding, if your opponent always plays cards without shuffling the hand first you will get a much higher accuracy for reads into your opponents possible hands. So shuffling your hand is a good habit to get into because you want to do it after every draw.

Someone’s gotta talk w/ production about the weird zoom ins on that random woman, very jarring and odd!

Yeah that was super weird. I figured maybe I missed some background, like that's Jake's wife or friend or sister or something. Edit: Ah, at the end of the video she goes on the stage and they say she's his girlfriend. I'd say the pan overs make sense now.

Most played deck. The originality is so dead in this game 🙄
