@CL-fg5ne I think it might be coz asafa mostly relied his generation of power, similar to bolt. If him and Coleman were to go ahead and do a 40m or 60m dash, it would be very close.

Race is too short for lyles to rely on his top end speed.From the first round you could tell that Coleman would conquer the field . Congratulations to him and Mr.Ackeem Blake on the bronze medal run. Oh , and congratulations to lyles on his 2nd place finish.

Coleman handles the 60m very well coz his start is out of this world ..he has one of the best starts i have seen 😊...Noah's start is sluggish but when he reaches like 70m he becomes another mix altogether..

also congrats Henrik Larsson with the first 60m world finals for sweden since 97, and 0.01 away from the NR. Pretty decent championship for sweden overall, considering how few athletes participated, and how badly Duplantis performed.

if you remove reaction timings, lyles ran the 60m fastest. This isn't even his event and he's challenging the GOAT at it.

I’m happy for Colman because this shows how strong team USA is. Unfortunately he didn’t create enough distance to beat Noah in the 100. He has to be 60m world record breaking Colman to stand a chance against Lyles in the 100m.

I'm glad to see Coleman is back, I think he and Fred Kerley are going to be the biggest threats in the 100m in Paris if they find away to reach their peaks without over training and burning out their legs before the competition.

This was Coleman at his best form, so the outcome is predictable if he’s healthy. As for Lyles, this time is still near his PB which is what I am excited for moving more into the season for the 100m and 200m races.

Still Lyles is a signficant threat from the acceleration i can see from this race. However, C. Coleman has always registered a beautiful start and his problem is after 60 m he begins decelerating whereas Lyles does not gas out. 60m is Coleman's Kingdom, but then when we stretch to 100m and 200m Lyles will for sure outgas them. Omanyala been focusing on 200m in his training routine lets hope the best also for the African champ.

Coleman is still not in that pre-suspension shape. He can erase any suspicions by matching or bettering his 100m PB this summer.

What Coleman has to focus on his once he comes out the block and needs to accelerate beyond 60 meters. Otherwise, after 60 meters Lyles will accelerate and beat him at the end.
