If Noah Lyles can drop 60m splits in the 6.3s next year, he's unstoppable in the 100m

@@joshuasanimations yeah I am sure he is working to improve the block start. That top view exposes what can improve in my opinion. Will be interesting though to see if he continues to focus on the shorter races or gets back to the 200m after losing in the Olympics..

@joshuasanimations He us a natural super fast starter that's not his problem at all, that's his ladies problem or so i been told of late, "Sha-Sha", no Christian has proper angle mechanics problem throughout his race & once he gets moving that's where he needs to focus all of his attention, only thang is he needs a good body coach who exactly knows what he's doing & what he's l👀king at to help him understand what he needs to do to make the adjustments, it's just not that many coaches that even understand that level of what I'm sharing, much less teaching it to transform a runner into changing body angles for the better👌🏻!!! Amen 🙏!!!

NOBODY in this 👉 🌏 should be able to beat my man Coleman in that 60, simply because he is so naturally quick & fast, now with that said, "Coleman's" Mechanics are off, where as "Noah's" mechanics are getting better & better, which is the only reason why he was able to ease uo on all those great sprinter's at the "Olympics", & when he eased up on "Coleman" in the 60 meters & niped him at the tape, it only means "Coleman" needs to find a excellent "Mechanics" coach to correct his form dome what, (Tiny things that most can't even discern👌🏻) you sir have spotted some technicalities that certainly could help, but I noticed I didn't hear you say anythang bout "Coleman's" arms, cause in my opinion if he could make some minor adjustments up there, that would make it much easier for the adjustments to come around with his hips & then his legs 🦵 would get more force pushing 🫸 him forward & keeping his legs under his hips much better, cause in truth he has more raw pure speed than anybody i've seen, & for him it's all about getting his over all body mechanics working as 1 together to pull off a major win for himself 👌🏻!!! Amen 🙏!!!

@@herbalman6337 yes there are some changes in the arms but in order to effectively make change to the arms a lot of times these top sprinters also need to adjust the leg cycle. To me, he is too short with his hip extension which limits force into the ground. When he can create more hip extension I think it will help him coordinate his arms which will lead to even more improvement.

Interesting to note that since Lyles has gotten quicker over both 60/100m over the last 2 yrs, it hasn't translated into a faster 200m for him (19.31 PB in '22) given that 19.46 & 19.47 are his fastest times since improving his 60m PB from 6.55 to 6.43 & 100m PB from 9.86 to 9.79 in that time! Hasn't run sub 19.5s since he started doubling 100/200m at Major Meets which is why I don't think he would've beaten Tebogo (who was easing down over the last 10m) in OLY 200m Final even w/o Covid!

Am I thinking about this correctly....If I have a hammer, I could hit the nail as fast as I can (Christian & Frequency) Or I can raise the hammer higher and hit the nail a lot harder (Noah & Force). And the optimal is some combination of the two with the fastest result of hammering the nail fully down. Something like that?

With regards to the issue with the feet not getting close enough to the butt in backside mechanics, what would be causing this issue and how can it be fixed?
@Performancelabofcalifornia15 күн бұрын
It is hard to say one specific thing but if this is something you struggle with then I would consider hip flexor range of motion/hip separation, front side mechanics applied to ground force and foot push off angle. I would say it is probably a combination of all 3 as each 1 effects the others.

This is easy. It's a weak core/hipflexors. Let me tell you one important thing. As soon as the support leg is in mid stance you want to recover/flex it forward again! Avoid trying to hit full extension! Also avoid trying a high knee. Instead its the powerfull thigh switching wich must come from the core especially the spine/pelvic. Just dont try to muscle the movent. Instead use reflexes. This is the secret for fast+ effortless sprinting.
