Maya, I just want to tell you , I am not a Christian. I was raised catholic but I say that loosely because bibles, church, Jesus name were scarcely mentioned in my household. Since I’ve started watching your channel, I’ve been questioning and looking forward to bringing God into my life more and more. I just wanted to thank you. I understand your struggle I am very similar to you. What helped me the most was reading the bible daily, pray like even about my feelings just everything, and I told God I wanted godly friends and he provided so it helped me learn how to live a God based life. Also make God the center of your life not part of it. The way you know is by reflecting and see if everything in your life flowing from God or just somethings. Catholics are christians too, and I would say that everyone has a personal experience with God, religion and the Church. But, Catholics are also really traditional and in Mass, Jesus is always present. Maybe you should try to search for better information about Catholicism! God bless you 🫶🏼❤️

I prayed for the first time at thanksgiving and I was so scared because I didn’t know if I’d do it wrong and I almost didn’t do it at all but I DID IT I knew I had to! Scared or not I knew the lord was there for me through out that prayer and I’m just so happy I got to do it and it made my family really happy as well

GIRL! GOD gave me a word @5 am and it was Timothy 2. Because I’ve felt that conviction on modesty. I’ve watched this after the modesty video. And babes… wooh. The prayer at the end had me tearing because that 100% is hard and scary. But partial obedience is disobedience. Thank you sis. I love the way the lord uses you. Your obedience reaches so many of us! When you touched on immediate obedience is something I’ve been working on as well. I honestly had a recent event at arriving at work. I saw one car go into the parking garage. He told me to turn into the garage. I keep going to to the normal exit only to see it it was closed making me turn around and take an extra 3-5 minutes to park almost missing clock in for work. Obedience is key

@@suzuzuzuzu Congratulations on making such a big decision! I was also a little nervous before my baptism but here are some things that helped me - talk to your pastor about what the process is like. Do you need to bring your robe, or is provided for you (most are provided). Where is the location, and how deep is the water (usually its only like 3 feet deep) - pray that God would show you verses about the importance of baptism in the bible - talk to those who have been baptized - Know that you will be OK. I know I was scared of falling into the water or accidentally drowning, but the reality is the process is pretty painless and quick. Blessings in your process and I pray things go well!

Girl... you just dont know how much you help me. I started going to church about 1 year ago.. my kids love going to church also.. I sit on the back row at church and listen to the preacher and cry just about every sunday... but I dont never take the next step to accept Christ! I was raised in church so I know what I should do, but I'm so scared I'm going to fail.. I dont want to disappoint Him or others around me when I tell them that I accepted Christ! I read my Bible and Pray.. but in saying all this... just pray for me when you pray! Thank you Maya!

I feel as though we now have to be careful as Christian content creators because a lot of the time, we can find ourselves getting lost in only spending time with God for content & views. It’s so funny because I looked up how to pray in my Bible app & God led me to Matthew 6 the first part is telling us as Christians to be careful practicing or faith in front of people to draw their attention because ultimately it means nothing to God & you won’t be rewarded. When I tell you that HIT HARDDDD 😮‍💨 so many people get lost in trying to be big time content creators that they are just using God to bring in views, so we as Christian’s definitely have to be weary because the enemy will definitely try to do his big one & distract! Maya, I hope you see this. I am in tears in my kitchen after your prayer! I’m currently in virtual orientation for my new job and battling with false idols on social media, with the struggle of working after being a SAHM but being sufficient in both roles as a nurse and mother. This year I’ve been slowly coming to Christ and letting him work on my life, nothing in my existence has impacted me this much. And I know the Holy Spirit was with you in that prayer, every single word spoke to me. Every. Single. Word. Maya, new subscriber here! Your latest vlog showed up on my recommendations yesterday. I do believe I may have watched a vlog of yours previously, but I’m not certain. The way you spoke about Christianity and your relationship with God sparked my interest, so I strolled through your videos to see if your beliefs aligned with mine. I stumbled on this Christian Girl Chat video. Still unsure if your Christian walk was something that aligned with my beliefs, I continued to watch. Girl, once you got on the topic of Santa and Christmas… I clicked that subscribe button so fast! I also have a 2 yr old, and we have made the decision that Santa will not be a part of our celebration even with a child. Last year we started a tradition where she bakes a birthday cake for Jesus with her dad so we can sing happy birthday to him. She was only 1 yr old last year and I would have never thought she would have remembered that is what she does… but sure enough this morning while eating breakfast and talking about the few gifts we have under the tree at this point, I reminded her that it is Jesus’ birthday, and then she said that she gets to make a birthday cake for Jesus. Lord, that touched my heart when she said that because it shows that her little brain is already remembering and associating Christmas with the birth of Christ. Some Christians teeter on the line of Christmas idols and their overall walk/relationship with God. I look forward to continuing to watch your content.

Thank you for your light. Your prayer really hit home as I've been going through it spiritually in my household and wanting to make changes while in an 8 year long relationship. I'm being moved by the Holy spirit and it has been so hard.. But through the storm I've prayed and talked to God more than I have in the last few weeks. And on top of that, my Fiancé has prayed even more and our home is becoming filled with God talks more than it ever has. Your prayer just really spoke to me and is keeping me grounded and helping with my understanding of our Lord. My new boundaries I've set in my home didn't feel good, but they feel right because I respect God first before anyone. The spiritual warfare has really felt heavy lately and I believe what you said about it. This journey is not always cute, but it's definitely teaching me to run to Jesus. Because after every trial there's Joy and understanding.

The verse: Deuteronomy 28:1-2. What stuck out to me most in today's reading: " Anything that He tells us to do, He gives us the ability to do."

I wanted to comment this since the beginning of the video was about therapy. I’ve been praying here and there about God guiding me onto my path in life and just helping me get to a career that he has planned out for me! Anyways for some background I recently transferred schools after graduating (I’m in my junior year now for reference of college). I originally was going for art education, I had been dead set on this since elementary school, I always knew I wanted to do something with art. When I transferred schools I had an abnormal psych class and loved every second of it and art therapy became a career option that intrigued me, I found out I hated teaching in a classroom and much preferred 1 on 1 interactions. I have an internship lined up for meditative art in an elderly home for my spring semester! Anyways my point it, I found this video last night only because I saw Santa in the title and saved it for later, I had a difficult day today and then I watched this and the first topic was using people here, therapists to help us heal with God and it made me realize that I am where I am suppose to be. He heard my prayers and told me that I am where I need to be. I’ve never watched her channel, and my KZbin recommended has so many options and seeing this I hope this makes someone else hopeful that you aren’t forgotten! He hears you! It’s just in his perfect timing!

So true what you said about your yes needing to be a 100% yes. Just you saying that got me in a conversation with Jesus reflecting on my journey of lack there of from before. I truly didn't understand what that meant and it impacted me greatly and my relationship with Christ. But, thank the Lord I'm in a place now where i truely feel a connection with the Lord after seeking Him for myself. Praise Jesus ✨🙏🏽

Amen I celebrate Christmas as the day the Wiseman brought gifts to the lord so in my home we lift up Jesus. However since my 4 year old is in split homes at his father's he does Santa. It definitely makes things hard
