I also recommend for you and others the Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible, The Archaeological Study Bible, The Thompson Chain Reference Bible, The ESV Study Bible, The Holy Land Illustrated Study Bible, The NLT Illustrated Study Bible, The Key Word Study Bible, a nice Bible Atlas and the Old and New Testament set of the Bible Knowledge Commentary.

I have the Bible knowledge commentary and I love it and since I got mine like 38 I think but I have seen the set on Facebook for 10 so they're out there

The Bible Knowledge Commentary Is My Favorite. And They are sooo good! It gives more details on the verses than my study Bibles.

I have that commentary but the tony Evans bible commentary is the best i also have the moody bible commentary as well so i have three on top of the four different bibles i use

Greetings Dear Sister, Keep up the good work. Just a thought: There are many transliterations of the scriptures. Some are word for word, some are paraphrased, some are thought for thought. Check a bible transliteration chart. It’s ok to have several transliterations, many diff bibles and study aids to enhance your study time. (Always Ask the leading of The Holy Spirit.) It will be worth the investment. Here please are a few items to consider adding to your library: an Amplified Bible, a Thompson Chain Bible, and a Scofield Study Bible. Also consider a good Bible dictionary, a book of customs & manners, a topical Bible, a Strongs Concordance and you mentioned a commentary; there are several out there and The Matthew Henry has always been a classic. Start slow and build gradually. You won’t be disappointed. If you can start with the Amplified Bible…♥️ Sending encouragement from Detroit.
