Yo broski you did answer his questions really well but I feel like you could've answered it better. A lot of the old covenant laws were just to make Israelites stand out from different nations. Romans, Greeks, ect, were known to enjoy pork and have really short hair, so God, to make the israelites "different" and "Stand out" from these other nations made a law where the Jews were forbidden from eating pork or cutting the sides of their hair. They were made unique to represent the nation of God, and the arrival of Jesus, was salvation fro the entire world. There is no "nation of God", the new Israel is the Church. I recommend you learn about the Council of Jerusalem, where the apostles gathered and decided what laws from the Old Covenant should be kept. Otherwise, good work bro 👍♥

This verse nowhere implies that he doesn't go back on his word. However it's true that God doesn't go back on his words, the law to not eat pork was made for the Israelites to be different from the nations around them as they were God's chosen and God gave them these laws to redefine their way of living compared to when they were in egypt under slavery. When Jesus came, he fulfilled all the laws of the old covenant. Also the old covenant is for the Israelites only not for the gentiles, Jesus came to save everyone ; Jews and gentiles. That's why he fulfilled them.

The qur’an changed ALOT of laws too like camel meat (eating), sea food (eating) and women HAVE to cover up (hijab). The old Jewish dietary laws are set forth in Deuteronomy, chapter 14. In verses 1 and 2, it clearly says that they are for God's people (the Israelites), whom He had chosen to be a holy people above the other nations. Therefore, those laws were never even intended for gentiles, like you and me.
