The fundamental error that is being made is not understanding that the current blessing of the new covenant bestowed to the church in no way invalidates or dismisses the future culmination for Israel (Ezekiel 36-37). @ I am not advocate of replacement theology. The promises given to Israel are not fulfilled in the church. Taz has no grasp of this issue. Moses and prophets Jeremiah, Zechariah and Ezekiel clearly teach that the New Covenant will fulfilled for the nation Israel as promised. Yet Scripture also teaches that the blessings of the New Covenant are bestowed on the church (forgiveness of sins, indwelling of the Holy Spirit, etc.) via its union with Christ Jesus. In Matthew 21:42-43 states that the kingdom would be given to another people. 1 Peter 2:9 identifies that people as the church. Yet Romans 11:26 clearly addresses the future restoration and salvation of Israel in keeping with the Old Testament promises.

41:00 is literally what i was gonna ask. How does the israelite be forgiven of sins then ? Forgive me as i'm not well learned but by the grace of GOD getting more knowledgeable as time progresses but, concerning the covenants, isnt the one referenced here ( Jeremiah 31:31-33 ) concerning their sins and how he will " fix " their relationship during the millenial reign ? I see this more of a Kings Decree. The perfect example is in the book of Esther where the king made 2 different Decrees and both were active. 1) The king being influenced by Haman made it so the Jews could be persecuted in attempt to eradicate them. 2) After the first decree he made a 2nd one. Making it so the Jews can fight back against anyone looking to do them harm. Both were active at the same time.

Ok finally done, i'm still confused by the totality of Cap's full position ( validation of it ) so i def want more. It does seem like theres a argument concerning the " new covenant " which he's stating doesnt happen until Jesus returns ( the Jer 31 verse ) but, that to me seems like a reference to forgive Israel and join them back together as one nation and no longer have to worry about the practices of the law. Mostly cuz this whole story isn't based on a marriage itself but a total story in totality. So it seems like his analogy referring to it so often is only one piece of the pie. Cuz when Paul speaks about gentiles being grafted in ( Romans 11:11-31 ) it seems like the Jews gotta move onto what Christ has done for their new ways as the new understanding for their lifestyle. @aaronowens234 it's a generational thing, most israelites who are brought up in a gentile state of mine, that verse doesn't apply to them, it's talking about the children who are raised up in the law, example. Gorilla hebrew was once a pagan, but then he found the truth, he then lives the law, and any offspring he has, he teaches them the law or raises them up in the law, so when then get to age of understanding, they would know right from wrong... hope that helps

I get it that i'm only 10 mins in but, LABAN switched up on Jacob ( kinda slime no lie ). It wasn't ordained by God for him to get Rachel switched out to Leah. Laban did it for the reason that Leah was the eldest and it wasn't the common practice for the younger to be wed before the elder. The reason why is he should have just told him straight up you'd have to marry both of them. It looked pretty clear Laban just wanted Jacob to be on his side and in his stead for as long as he could.
