it's not just catholics that believe apostolic succession is more than having a book from the apostles that you can interpret however you want, but the eastern orthodox the oriental orthodox and church of the east all believe this too as well as everyone prior to 500 years ago even the fathers from whom we see the witness throughout the centuries. paul tells timothy to enjoin on others what he heard from paul and to find a worthy person to give the same charge. this is not for everyone because he says to entrust it to faithful men who will do the same. he did not say "teach everyone what i taught and tell them all to do the same". this is passed on in the laying on of hands by a man who has been given the charge such as the apostles and then their successors who they gave the charge like timothy and titus.

if you are a Christian saved under the New Testament, you are not under the old Testament law therefore, you cannot sin against it. we are not under the law of Moses anymore. It was nailed to the cross and taken out of the way because it was contrary to us. We have been given a new covenant where we receive God‘s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. And that is the message PAUL was given to abound into the world. You can break man’s laws and that’s called a crime but you cannot break God’s law because God’s law is not in effect. You can’t get a speeding ticket on a highway where there is no speed limit. We are covered by the blood of Christ and our sin is covered.

@@dmoffitt1914 it wasn’t a correction but a rebuke for being a hypocrite.Being that Paul was with a saved gentile and his family,eating with them and that in of itself was a unlikely behavior of a Jew to be around so called unclean gentiles and eat what food they had to offer.It was allowed for Paul to partake with gentiles but being that Paul rejected the same gentiles when he seen the circumcision party that were with James he turned his back on gentiles to make it seem that he wasn’t one with the gentiles. Paul already understood that his ministry was to the gentiles and Peter to the Jews.Galatians 2:7-8.

Its a difference between Women teaching or preaching and a women thats the overall Bishop or Head of the church. Its nothing wrong with women teaching or preaching as long as she is serving under the authority of a head male leader. Thats what Paul means when he said assuming authority over a man

@@Trains-hb5xyI don’t like false doctrine. If your doctrine lines up with that, then yes I don’t like it. You guys are leading people to hell and stomping on what Christ did for us. We are no longer slaves to sin. It doesn’t mean we don’t sin at all. We are imperfect beings striving towards perfection. The key is not intentionally sinning, humbling yourself to realize that you need Christ for salvation, and not putting confidence in your flesh or works.
