Christian Journals For Different Journaling Styles

There's many different journaling styles and not all of them will work for everybody. If you want to start a Christian journal but you don't know what your style is then this video is for you. I break down different types of journals for different types of journalers and what a good Christian alternative would be. I like to take massive amounts of notes and I do it in my interleaved Bible. I use sticky notes, add additional pages to write on and also add in maps, printouts etc. I have one Bible for coloring in, and I have a large spiral Bible to add stickers and such to go along with verses in the Bible. I also have one that is just the psalms that I do the same thing. I have a separate journal that I do scripture writings in. I am also doing a Lenten journal right now Ina travelers journal. I just started all this the first of this year. It has taken me until I turned 70 to start doing this, but I am loving every minute of it.

Thank you for this video!😊At present I keep a Bible journal, I just started a prayer journal, these are great. After watching this video it is clear I need a list journal. Im always making lists in my head. I hope writing down the lists will quiet my mind. In addition a gratitude journal would be beneficial . I've been going through deep water and reflecting on God's goodness definitely brings Him glory and lifts the spirits.😊 Thank you again. Love in Christ ✝️

Journals as a personality type? Great concept! I do the emotional dumping/prayer journal and note-taking for sure. (Though I tend to find myself making lists at the backs of the note-taking ones, a poem every now and again.)

I am for sure a note-taker!! I keep a plethora of notebooks filled with sermon notes, quotes from books, specific pertinent maps, historical information, word studies, favorite hymns, archeological information, etc. for reference. In addition, I washi tape maps, pictures, and supporting information all over my Bible for reference. God’s word is so delicious- it’s better than food! 😊
