Painful childbirth is not a punishment on women because of the sin of the first man and woman. Instead, it is a consequence of that sin, which led to the expulsion of Adam and Eve from Paradise. Jesus did not say that a woman who is cheated by her husband and gets divorced cannot remarry. She can of course remarry, except in the case of a divorce which is NOT based on adultery.

I'm talking in general because rules in the Quran are for all, not some specific people who have specific habits. Men don't see partners like women do, their eyes still wander. And this also doesn't mean that men can't be monogamous, ofc they can. We can talk about the west as having more freedom as we want, even then there are characteristics and discussion about men and women that aren't much different. Because we just can't change nature and how we are created. The west want to force change that nature in the name of equality and sexual liberty so bad but the result will be chaos, as we see beginning today, more confusion than it ever has in history. There's an increase in the number of depressed people. They can say they're more free but they're more frustrated it seems. Why that is? Well for me it is clear. The foundation of their society is toxic for human nature. They're destroying family, destroying community, destroying identity, destroying faith, destroying minds so on and so forth.

@@deed9430 ive seen some women compromise to be the 2nd or 3rd in a relationship. this is a bf and gf type relationship ive come across in real life. i think if the man posses certain qualities, women don't mind. matter fact they would try harder in the relationship to win his attention more and compete with other women. its very common in the west especially, when everyone is a young adult. personally Islamic marriage is better because at least the man is commanded to treat between them justly meaning he has to spend the same amount on all of them and be intimate with all of them to give them their rights and not treat them like they're dolls he pick and chooses whenever he feels like it. But in reality muslim men dont do that these days but its what the religion tells us to do. I do believe that a man should be tested if he is capable of being just before he can marry multiple. Like test his wealth, health, testosterone and other things.

True. I have a Catholic friend who has to stay in a toxic relationship because the religion does not allow divorce. Her husband has been in and out of jail for years, her kid (now around 10yo) never had a father figure. 😞 Islam really is perfect & protects women like no other religion

About the woman’s right to put marriage contract conditions like not wanting her husband to marry another and how that protects her right for divorce with full rights if she wants. Amazing how Islam thought of everything and every eventuality within only 23 years of revelation. Because its from God. once my familly had a common project with other familly ( it was one man who had two wives and three children), i asked the oldest wife how and why that happened . she told me that she and her husband could not get children during about ten years , then they discussed the idea of a marry a second wife ,after a few days of discussion they agreed , that new wife was younger than the first one, she was widowed without children and was agree also to marry and be a second wife . luckily with the new wife , the familly could get a children . the first wife of course was happy too and took care of the children as they are her own children, all of them have lived under one roof a happy life full of love, understanding and patient. i found out that it was an amazing experience , that man could have divorced the woman . and brought a new one . but who would accepted to marry her while she couldnt get pregnant especialy in that countryside where all poeple are well known .

1 Corinthians 7:2,3 Nevertheless, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. 3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. New testament clearly states Monogamy unlike islam. Hope you know how solomon got punished for his sins and idolatry.

The problem is that people in the West imagine an idealistic life and it bothers them when a solution is beneficial for a society and group, but personally uncomfortable. Yes, it is preferable to be the only wife of a man. But we have to think beyond ourselves and personal desires. If you have a good husband, he can be a good husband to another woman who may be in danger if left single. Look at how many women/girls are trafficked. Look at the number of women who are widowed with children or had abusive first husbands and had to divorce, but still stuck trying to manage a household and raise children. Only a God fearing man can do justice to multiple wives.
