One of the most beautiful and healthy conversations between a Christian and Muslim. ❤ One thing we should always remember is that God's abilities are not limited like us. He can be all of it at once. If you can always remember that then you will not have a problem to understand that He is God the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit yet 1 God 1 thrown. The bible says that in Isaiah 63, God's hand brought salvation. So think of it like this, when you take a drink from the table we don't say your hand took the drink but we say you took the drink. Thus with God his hand which brought salvation means is still God(Jesus ). But because He is just too Mighty to comprehend. He named his hand Jesus for our sake to understand (and this last part is my own way of interpretation just so you can understand)

@Nicholasbowling, you description of the trinity sounded very close to modalism, you may not be aware of the difference between modalism and trinitarian doctrine. Modalism believes that the Father, Spirt, and Son are forms of God and that God displays Himselfbin those forms at diffetent times, but not all of them at once. Trinitarian belief states that God is on being that exists in 3 seoarate persons. Each person is separate and distinct from the other, but all are God. The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Spirit, the Spirit is not the Father, but all ate God and God is one. Just curious what your beliefs are on this.

We done call it modelism though because we don’t want people to get it confused with what you just explained. There so called other “modelism” is called the Oneness of God: we still believe that once the son was born on earth that the Father still existed. So most people think that oneness Pentecostalism don’t believe that the Father still existed at the same time the son was walking the earth. That’s wrong. But yeah, even though oneness Pentecostals are modelists to some degree, we don’t identify as modelist because we still believe in the father and son existing at the same time.

Or the baptism of Jesus where Jesus is standing, the Father speaks, and the Holy Spirit comes like a dove? Or how Jesus and the Father will come and make their home in the hearts of the believer? Or how Jesus said that if you’re ashamed of Him, He would be ashamed of you when He comes in His own glory, and the glory of His angels? Or Hebrews 1:8 when the Father is speaking to the Son?

We over complicate everything. We can't choose who God is. Let's just accept him for who he is. Jesus, the Father, and the Holy spirit are all God. He can't "display himself at different times" bc all forms still exist. They don't cease to exist or stop working.

No, just no I'm a 13 year old muslim and I know more than you... 1. In the Quran, Quran is the result of the 3 previous books that was from Allah... Quran is the last one. Everything from the Bible, the taurat and the Zahur is written in the Quran. But I believe what the bible said was wrong, the bible is mostly already human intervented. 2. The Quran said that Jesus was actually Our Prophet before Muhammad SAW. Meaning hes not God, but a Prophet. And about him sacrifising his life, it was not jesus or the Prophet Isa. He was replaced by Allah swt with one of His traitors who used to be his student, the traitors name is Yudas Iskariot. Who is what you call jesus now. And what happened to Jesus or prophet Isa who was replaced? Jesus is now in Heaven (after he was replaced) waiting for the Dajjal to attack (you might not know Dajjal) and when the Dajjal attack, Jesus or Prophet Isa as will come and save by killing the Dajjal There might be more to say but I just want you to know that, the fact that you just come straight up to muslims and told us that our religion is wrong and everything. We have our own beliefs and you have nothing to do with it. That's def not tolerance. As a muslim I'm really offended by what you said. But since we both have our own beliefs.
