I was brought up in a devout Christian home. We prayed together as a family after a mealtime. My dad took time to explain the verses to us. As I grew up, I rebelled against God, but thank God at the age of 15, I had a personal encounter with God. I received Jesus into my heart. I am 53 years old and more in love with Jesus. My parents laid the foundation and planted the seeds. The Holy Spirit did the work. My parents couldn't accept Jesus for me even though they taught me and my siblings about Jesus, and we still needed to accept the invite to receive Jesus. Christianity is not a religion it's a relationship with Jesus Christ. Praise God for saving Muslims. God bless you all.

What amazes Muslims is that I pray and always get prayer-answers. Of course, because Jesus lives, sees and hears :). Update: my friend was going to court in a business matter and was nervous about it so I prayed:"Jesus, you know all matters in this whole errand. Help XX to get a just verdict; you are her lawyer and judge. Thank you for praying answer. Amen." She won and they asked her:"Do you know the judge?!" (Yes, him in Heaven 😉).

@jalinluming271 Jesus is the only intercessor (mediator) in heaven (1 Timothy 2:5-6). We are warned in Exodus 20:4-5 by the second commandment to not make any images and worship or bow down to them. The roman catholic church deliberately omits the 2nd Commandment and divides the 10th Commandment into 2 parts to compensate for this omission. Please read the Bible for yourself. Jesus died ONCE and for all (Romans 6:9-10) and we celebrate what He did as a remembrance not by killing Him again and again (which is what your Eucharist is). Mary was a woman who also needed a Saviour (Luke 1:47). Only SINNERS need a Saviour. Mary was not sinless. Also, Mary was not the mother of God. That is blasphemy as it claims God was made by a human. Mary was the mother of Jesus' EARTHLY beginning. Jesus, Himself, is eternal but became flesh and His Father used Mary to birth Him in flesh. Your veneration of past believers (Peter, Paul, etc) is satanic. These were sinful men just like us. They repented and followed Jesus. That's what we are called to do- FOLLOW ONLY JESUS! Get out of that false religion and serve Jesus in Truth.

I, a male, grew up in a completely broken home of seven with a self-centered, man-hating, angry single mother. There was little encouragement and no church since she hated that also. At 17 I joined the army to get free and things began to turn around somewhat, I could now make my own decisions but I was a broken person still and made many bad decisions. I always intuitively knew there was a higher being, (a God) but I didn't know who He was (no personal relationship). At 35, a friend took me to a Christian church and the pastor was teaching the words of Christ out of one of the gospels, and it pierced me to my very core (this must be true). I gave my life to Christ a few days later. However, I became disillusioned with the church after a few years and backslid for several years because I focused on the people, not Christ (we are all broken people). I learned that I needed to keep my focus on Jesus and I have never looked back since. I tried reading the Quran to see what all the argument was about. I found it contradicts the bible and amazingly itself on every other page. it reads like it was written by a schizophrenic. My father was a schizophrenic so I know how they think. No miracles, no prophecies, none of what the bible offers, and is established through war rather than truth. that is wrong at its core. Jesus is, (Joh 14:6). I pray Islam will embrace the real Jesus Christ and enjoy what I have found. It's the only way!

I love hearing ex-Muslim stories. They make such great Christians because they really do have to lose their old life, and too often family, friends, community, when they choose to follow Jesus. They also know the deep dark secrets of Islam and can speak with authority to other Muslims in order to bring them into the knowledge of the faith in Jesus Christ. My cousin went jail came out a muslim, then tried converting me to Islam he was soo persistant and I wasn't strong in my Christian faith, so I started doing research on Islam and I saw all the darkness in the Quran immediately. Like many of the panel members say here, being a Muslim for many people is cultural. While no one is born a Christian, people are born into Islam all the time. That makes faith conversations harder. To the Muslim, there is much more at stake - family rejection, torn worldview cherished from infancy, the resulting pain and confusion, and so on. In some places, a Muslim convert may even be killed for it. But over and over again, Jesus yet works his ways through. Amen. Below are some blog articles that I used in my engagement with Nigerian Muslims. (I understand that each Islamic community thinks differently about certain details. But some issues are almost universal, eg the crucifixion.) The gentleman says he used to believe that Islam was the updated and complete package. Many Muslims, in fact, continue to believe that.
