Dr. Crawford Gribben carefully evaluates the impact of Christian Reconstruction on the Religious Right and American politics. The Moral Majority sought a top-down, political solution that starkly contrasted with R. J. Rushdoony's insistence upon individual regeneration and self-government as preceding the transformation of family, society, and civil government. Christian Reconstruction nonetheless influenced American evangelicalism, sometimes in unexpected ways and places.

As an European observing this craziness since decades I can honestly say these people aren't very different from the Taliban. And this is a world wide threat that Americans have so many of those Christian fundamentalists trying to (with a smile of course, often not telling the whole truth of their fundamentalist believes till they got you with their nice songs and warm appearance) take over the world.

I would consider my self a Catholic nationalist with Marxist-Leninist characteristics. I see both the social left (liberalism) and the economic right (late stage capitalism) as the problem

Dominion theology is concerning to say the least. It seems to distort parts of scripture and changes The Great Commission. Fighting culture wars achieves nothing for people’s eternal life.

If you do it presuppositionally then you do it by changing hearts, it’s part of the gospel and the reconciliation and sanctification of the entire world. We’re the leaven that goes through the whole dough. If you will.

Not a theonomist, but I know some anarcho-libertarians at the Mises Institute who like some of Gary North’s works of economics. Doesn’t necessarily mean that they were liking his theonomy, just at least his economics.
