Christian Vander plays an incredible solo version of Coltrane's A Love Supreme.

Saw Magma at the Roundhouse Chalk Farm in 1974 and Christian played the greatest drum solo I've ever seen or heard ( believe me I've witnessed a numbing amount ) ...The man is truly brilliant..

Did you see him play the Marquee that same year? They released a bootleg of it a few years ago and the drum solo was mind blowing.

@@Turquoise_Yachting_Club I totally agree. I was at a Magma concert once in which he played a 45 minutes drum solo (yes, 45 minutes). I am a drummer myself, so I easily get bored when watching drum solos. But there was not a boring second in that solo. Only Vander can pull off something like that.
