I think the church as whole has done a disservice to discipling MEN as a whole not just to be a husband but to truly love the Lord & serve Him. There is also not as much “pressure” for lack of better words for women to be built up to be a wife vs men being built up to be husbands.

Been divorced twice. Learned a lot of hard lessons about the importance of being equally yoked and our purpose in this world. Can’t marry again, but I think this is so needed because it’s difficult to find serious Christians are who are all about the Kingdom of God. I’ve passed this on to a couple of my Christian friends who are truly born again and desire a Godly relationship and marriage.❤

Absolutely agree with what you said. Need to be equally yoked. I am an example. I like to think I am after Gods heart and on fire for him. Unfortunately during my times in the “wilderness” i married a woman that I love, but she is not equally yoked with me and I think how much more we could be used for the Kingdom of God if we were. I have faith that the one true God will reveal himself and she will have a change of heart. I am no discouraged but just ask for prayer. Thank you.

Karolyn I was so excited to hear about your dating site, and went immediately to sign up, praying along the way that it's free, I know it cost money to do these things but I was so disappointed at the end to find out that this was just another site where we need to pay to find a man, it's another money making thing, it's not about wanting to put 2 Godly persons together , its about making money, so disappointed in a Christian

Just because 2 people are saved and filled with the Holy Ghost doesn’t mean they are equally yoked as well. God may be trying to birth something through each of them and their calling doesn’t allow them to give the time and attention to each other, so they are pulled in different directions and someone is lacking in the love and attention that they need as a married woman or man. Also many Christian men need to be trained on submitting and submission.

@@irenecheatom2601 2 people saved and spirit filled are equally yoked and that’s top on the list. The rest is up to Yahweh. Plus we are all called to do different things, so then if a couple is equally yoked (saved, spirit filled) they’ll have to find a way to balance their activities as a couple. And don’t forget that the assignment God has called them to is top priority and must be the centre of the marriage. We must never put marriage above serving God

@@mawusivivor5546 That’s not true. Equally yoked has to do with your purpose aligning. Younger women aren’t having courtships anymore, as in taking the time to know someone. An apostle came to my church and he said that he could smell the stench of fornication in the church. There’s still work to be done on the part of the believer after he gets saved. Learning the voice of the Lord and learning to obey. Dealing with your pride and sitting under the angels of the church to become rooted in God. You have to follow before you can lead. Dealing with the demons of your childhood and learning to be meek when people persecute you and say all manner of evil against you falsely. Men know the women who are wives and the ones who are for the streets. By the time I was 18 I had 3 marriage proposals. I prayed the sinners prayer at 12 but I wasn’t in a church until 16. God led me there and it was a revival going on and that’s where I tarried and got filled with the Holy Ghost. It was easy to decide which man was qualified to be my husband because out of the 3 only 1 was saved. When he approached me after service he spoken to me about marriage and dating. I said I don’t want to date but if you’d like to meet here at the church Monday thru Thursday and pray together we can hear what God has to say about us being married. We did that for a whole year and we got different answers. He said he got a yes and I got a no. I was new to the church he was raised in the church. I paid for that mistake of marrying him for 26 years. I could make a list of things but I’ll just say. IN ALL OF THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE THE LORD AND HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH.

My question is why arent there a lot of single and qualified men in the church. As a Christian women i dont like the idea that we're taught as long as that man is for Jesus that's it. But settle and comprise on everything else. Why are men going to fasle religions but there's a huge imbalance on men vs women in the church. I feel like women outnumber the men and than there very unrealistic expectations on both. We should aim to get mairred but why is there a pressure to marry the person we go on a date with
